I saw it live in Paris in the 70s and this movie gave me a travel in time.Do not worry when your (American) DVD player does not read it. You may play it through any laptop/computer Windows or VLC media player.

Als Fan von Ariane Mnouchkine und ihrem Theatre du Soleil ist dieser Mitschnitt einer Theateraufführung ein Muss! Habe ich schon mal vor vielen Jahren im Kino gesehen und bin froh, es nun als DVD zu haben. Ein faszinierendes Spektakel.

Outil de travail, mais pas un spectacle
Cette captation d'une représentation de théatre permettra aux étudiant en art dramatique, ou aux historiens de l'art théatral, d'examiner l'apport de Ariane Mnouchkine à l'art de la mise en scène.Mais la qualité déplorable de la captation (son épouvantable, image brouillone) rend ce document impropre à la vision par de simples amateurs de théatre comme moi.

DVD défectueux ?
Impossible de lire ce DVD, après des essais sur divers supports (lecteur DVD, ordi...). Est-ce possible de l'échanger, même s'il a été acheté il y a longtemps, mais pas regardé !
