Buy from Tannus
Tannus Armour adds some weight, but I figure that this will just make me stronger. The bike feels a little more solid. I am not sure how much psi that I like in my tire now, but I did test and you can ride flat. I do not recommend this, but if you need to get off a trail then you should be fine. Save some money and buy them from the Tannus site. They are $5 cheaper. I had Amazon gift cards to use so I went ahead and got them. I thought about giving them a lower rating because they are over priced, but that has nothing to do with the product itself. Overall I really like them so far.

Best product
I ride 6 times a week, SoCal, thorn puncture once or twice a week. I tried thorn resistant tubes, got punctures. I tried tubeless...messy pain. These things, slightly harder to put the tube and tire on the wheel, but since the purchase, I have had 0 punctures. Simple solution seems to be the best.

Product rocks! I've paid for them just by not having to replace tubes.
Works really well. I know I should run tubeless but still choose not to. This allows for that. Very happy with this product and enjoy using them all year long.

NOTE: YOU MUST DOWNSIZE THE TUBE
I mistakenly presumed a smaller tube was included with the insert. It was not. After two hours trying to install the insert with my existing tube (which was too big), I gave up and reinstalled the tube sans insert. I’ll order a smaller tube and try to install the insert another time. The concept is good, but installation is a bear

Simple, Easy to use and WORKS!
Want the puncture protection of tubeless without the mess??! Well look no further, these tire inserts weigh a tiny bit more than CushCore but these are as easy to install as a standard tube! I have ran these in my downhill bike on some of the nastiest, sharpest, sketchy rock gardens and have yet to get a flat!! They take a few miles to break in but once they do these are the most hassle-free and easy to use puncture/rim protection on the market. Cant beat the simplicity of a tube and the protection of tubeless without the mess!!!

Lots of Rolling Resistance
I ride in the desert where tire flats are common. I have an older bike and didn't want the expense of going tubeless so thought the Tannus insert would do the trick.Pros:I've ridden over 100 miles with it with no flats, so in that respect it does a good job.It wasn't difficult to install. There is slightly better grip on the climbs because of the squishiness of the rear tire. It's relatively inexpensive.Con:The rolling speed is MUCH slower! I'm not a downhiller and I do a lot of trail riding. No matter where I ride, I need my gears 1 or 2 speeds lower with the insert because of the rolling resistance. My older bike has 26" tires, though, so that may make a difference compared to 27.5 and 29ers. I recently took the insert out just to see how much difference it made and it felt SO much better. If you do a lot of downhill riding, the added rolling resistance probably won't bother you much. But if you do a lot of trail riding and are usesd to a certain amount of rolling resistance, it may not be for you.

Expect to work at it trying to get it to fit!
Yes, I got tired (pun intended) of flats! I bought this to try and alleviate the headache. I must admit, it is large. It is like trying to stuff ten pounds of stuff into a five pound bag! I did get it all into my 26x2.25" tire! a little bit of air and viola! a solid tire! We will see how it performs and saves me from buying more tubes!

Works well tubeless
I never used this product with tubes but it works pretty well as a rim protector. I've sent some decently large drops and had some pretty hard landings without destroying my wheel. I'm pretty happy with it.

Heavy and finicky
I'm unsure if I will continue to use. They were easy to install but had problems with a slight wobble that took a week of fiddling to make go away. Tannus advises to deflate tire after each ride to maximize longevity. This is a pain because it brings the wobble back requiring fiddling around again. They definitely prevent pinch flats. I run around 30 psi and like the plush feel over rocks. The trade off is rolling resistance is much higher. I'm undecided between running latex tubes at 40 psi with tire sealant resulting in faster rolling and noticeable difference in weight when climbing. I'm heavy so if I get pinch flats with my latex setup I will switch back to the Tannus. Tires are WTB 700 x 42c Resolutes
