This is an otherwise 5-star rug rolled into a box that leaves it permanently creased, making it look already worn on arrival. It’s such a bummer because I LOVE the pattern and feel of it, everything else is great. It seems a waste to take such care to make a great product and then ruin it with the packaging. Bummer.

I bought two of these for my newly remodeled kitchen. I love to cook, and find my feet aching when I do dishes or am cutting produce or am cooking/baking for long periods of time. Honestly though, I bought these more so for the super elegant pattern, than I did for the cushioning. But the cushioning is an incredible perk in my situation. There were many comments I read before I purchased these about how they roll and cannot be straightened out easily, and I did not have this problem in the slightest. When I unpackaged them, I layed them out for a couple days, and left them be, and they are completely flat to the floor, no ends curl under or pop up or anything. These rugs really make my kitchen pop, and I love them for that! Functional accent piece!

I was hoping I would be one of the lucky ones who got these in a flat pack. Unfortunately, mine were rolled up and came out super wrinkled. One also came with a weird flaw. It looked like a stain and when i rubbed it the top peeled back. I am bummed because the pattern is awesome. Might have to go back.

UPDATE: They took around a week to completely flatten but they have been great since then, no issues. It’s nice to be able to just wipe them clean since they don’t have indented designs. They do slide a little more than I want but I have a baby in a walker which pushes them around a bit but they are easily put back in their place. Overall, very satisfied!We originally ordered another brand of mats but the color was off so we returned them and got these. These are okay, they’re not nearly the quality of the others we ordered and they were rolled so tightly that the tops are wrinkled and they don’t lay flat. Don’t know how long it’s going to take for them to flatten, we’ve only had them a day. But the pattern is beautiful and the colors go perfectly in my kitchen so I am happy with that and they are pretty squishy. I’ll leave it at 4 stars for now, we will see how they last.

So I read reviews from a lot of other people that their rug was shipped rolled up, I really hoped that wasn't going to be the case for mine but it was. I put heavy things on each end for 3 days but the ends still stick up, I don't see how they are going to flatten out. Also, because it was rolled up there are deep wrinkles in the mat now, and I don't see how those will go away either. I really like the pattern, the thickness of the mat is nice. I gave it 3 stars because I'm just really bummed the company wouldn't think of a better way to send these without ruining the product. I am still debating on giving it more time, or sending it back.

I had to knock the rating down from 5 to 3 stars because of how quickly the mat faded. I first bought the mat in early December, but I had to buy a second one at the end of February, when I discovered one of my cats was using it as a scratching mat. When I unfurled the second mat, I saw how much the color faded in just 3 months, as you can see in my photo (top one is from December, bottom is the one I just got). This is not sitting in direct sunlight nor do I use cleaners when I wipe it down, just water. There's no excuse for this to happen at all.Original review: The mat I bought is super comfy and the perfect size to go from my sink to my stove, without having to shift it around constantly. I have beat-up, uneven wooden floors and my feet do not start to hurt after an hour when I am cooking and doing dishes, unlike my old mat. My only beef, and it's small one, is that the black is really a brown-black, so the design does not pop how I hoped it would.

This is thick and comfy to stand on. The white parts can get dirty quickly and it takes a little bit of elbow grease to get them clean. After several months the mat is still in good shape, but it does show a bit of wear. The surface is a bit more wrinkly than it was when we originally purchased it. Not a big deal, but just something to note. I love that the mat doesn't move from where it is placed, even with our busy dog running across it in the kitchen.

It’s very nice and very comfy to stand on but I found it rather pricey. I couldn’t find another one that I liked that was cheaper.
