Something you think you’ll never need!
We had tadpoles in a newly formed nature pond and I’m certain this is the only thing that kept them alive with a good success rate having few plants in the pond. Great find to give nature a little helping hand.

Tadpole at home
Bought to feed some tadpoles at home. Son bought some tadpoles home to watch grow. Feed them this which worked a treat. Easy and quick to use with the right nutrients to help them grow. No mess. No smell. Only gripe is would have preferred to be able to buy smaller bags. It’s A LOT unless you plan to feed a pond full!

Killed ALL tadpoles
*UPDATED* DO NOT BUY. All my tadpoles died. The only thing I can think of to have caused this was this food. It turned the water into a jelly (with only a small amount provided). Killed every single tadpole. Wish i'd not bothered and the tadpoles would still be alive. Killed within hours of being fed this food.Since Inital post, I've done some experiments and I swear it zaps the water of all oxygen. Photos at 5 minutes.Avoid - contrary to others, the tadpoles here did not like the food at all. It lay at the bottom breaking down into a mush that contaminated the water so you couldn't see anything. I'm now researching if I can change the pond water somehow. In trying to help, I've made the lives of the tadpoles terrible.

Tadpoles love it
I bought this as my very small pond is overrun with tadpoles this year and I wanted to compliment the bits of veg etc I drop in to make sure they don’t starve .It breaks down well as “fluffs” up making it easy for the tadpoles to eat . To be fair they swarm to it as soon as I drop the food in .. I highly recommend this product

Good but beware of the amount you use
This huge bag made me think they needed more. If you put more than one or two sticks in it poisons the water and your tadpoles will die. Feed very sparingly. This is food for an entire pond not just a jam jar of tadpoles so be very cautious with the amount you give. Be careful when you change over to the new food that you provide both for a while as they develop at different rates. This food meant I had to change the water frequently which was a faff. Spinach leaves will do just as well for the first stage.
