Durable being made of aluminium and rather better for heat dissipation as well. If your NVME card is one of the shorter types (40 or 60mm long) you'll need to gently bend down the plastic tags along the card length to seat the card down properly without bending it, easily done.Achieved roughly 460 MB/s read and write via USB A 3.1 and USB-C with the adapter, which is pretty near full speed for the Samsung 850 card I had. Excellent and very cheap way of re-using old cards. The only downside was the that USBA end of the included cable fell apart on the 5th insertion and removal! Fortunately I had a spare but I've no idea how I would contact the manufacturer for a replacement.

When I upgraded my PC's NVMe drive, I wanted a way to reuse the old one. This neat little case is perfect. Well made with a nice thick aluminium case for heat dissipation. Now I have a super-fast portable drive for my video files. Great value and fast delivery - recommended

Great enclosure, simple to install the hard drive and it is then just plug and play.

It works perfectly. Landed well packed. I use this to get info from hard drives from peoples broken laptops. Pics etc for them.

Faulty and unable to slot in the SSD. Had to send back and that process has not been smooth on Amazon either

I have used SSK before and this one did not disappoint me. Very easy to assemble, only one screw to do and the SSD is held in place by a plastic clip, very happy with it !!

It is a great tool at a very reasonable price. I wanted to backup HDD into m.2 SSD but this enclosure is so great that I am using it as boot drive as well as work drive. Guess what, my work is not in the laptop anymore, it is always in my pocket - safe and secure.However, there is one problem; Kingston SSD SM2280S3G2/480G can't be inserted in the case because of components on the SSD.

Da ich von meinem Laptop noch eine 1TB M2 SSD übrig habe und dachte das sie einen B Key hätte, suchte ich ein Gehäuse welches eben jenen Key besitzt damit man M2 NGFF SSDs nutzen kann die nur eine Kerbe rechts haben und somit nur das SATA Protokoll können.Hier wurde ich fündig und bestellte ihn sofort.Er kam gut verpackt an und kam mit einem kleinen Schraubendreher, sehr gut würde ich eine Schraubenlose Verriegelung finden, denn die SSD selbst wird einfach nur eingeklippt, die Schublade mit der SSD wird jedoch verschraubt...die SSD wurde sofort erkannt ein erster Lesetest zeigte ein Resultat um 500 MB/s - was ironischerweise so schnell ist wie die billigen NVME Adapter aus dem billig Preissegment. Ein USB Typ C zu USB A Adapter wird sogar aus Alu mitgeliefert, wirkt jedoch aber am USB C Anschluss etwas wackelig, aber gut man braucht ihn nicht! Ebenfalls ist ein USB A 3.0 zu Typ C Kabel dabei das zwar etwas steif ist aber sich nach guter Qualität anfühlt.Zusammengefasst:- Das Gehäuse ist stabil und leicht!- die Installation ist kinderleicht- das Zubehör ist gut vom Lieferumfang her.- Die Datenrate ist sehr brauchbar- blaue LED welche die Aktivität anzeigtwünschenswert wäre eben das einrasten der Schublade ohne Schraube gewesen, aber bei dem Preis will ich nicht meckern.
