First one of these was and still is, great. This second one has always been a bit odd and is now dreadful. Tried to contact seller via Amazon but impossible. Would rather not leave a bad review as probably a one off....

After wasting goodness knows how much money on “reusable” syringes that then turn up with “dispose after use” printed on them, I was starting to get despondent. They would work fine for the first few uses and then the rubber bungs would start jamming in the syringe and coming away from the plunger. I wasted more bird food wearing it when the syringe exploded than I would get in the bird.So I tried once more to find something that will actually work beyond a week.This kit looks ideal. I was a little sceptical about the idea of putting a metal tube down a tiny birds throat but so far so good. The tube actually fits down the throat better than the previous plastic ones and so far in the first few used I’ve had less spillage out of the side of the birds mouth than when using a plastic tube.The plunger feels smooth when being used to suck up or push out the food and it also feels so much better quality.There are liquid markers on the plunger as well as on the syringe so it’s easier to see how much you have in the syringe.Assuming this lasts beyond a few days of useage then I’ll be buying the bigger sizes as well.Will update if I encounter any problems.
