It says that it can be used for watercolor, so i want to know what is the lbs of this journal is

So, I'm a professional illustrator and I use these books all the time. I have about a dozen. There's little info on the paper, what it's made from, or where it's made. It's got a slightly yellowish tone to it, but not overwhelming at all. It has a light tooth making it terrific for a variety of drawing and painting tools. It's probably about 60-70 lbs (heavier than copy paper but lighter than card stock). I use it exclusively for pen & ink, watercolor, and colored pencil. Great for sketching, but I've scanned plenty of finished pieces from these books, as well. I don't use the pocket in the back, but I love the fabric cover, the elastic band, and fabric bookmark. Overall, these are my go to books over Stillman & Birn, Field Artist, Canson, or any others. For me, they're exactly what I like. Good luck!

It says 128 sheets. So counting 1 sheet as 2 pages, this has 256 pages or is it an advertising error?

Dear Wild_Card, Thank you for your inquiry. I apologize for any inconvenience. This Artist Journal has a total of 128 pages, which can be used on both sides of the page. Using both sides of each page will give you a total of 256 journal pages to use. Thank you, Karen S/Blick Art Materials

Are the covers wrapped in fabric? Looking at the black version.

Not sure. I bought the green one. It is covered in fabric. Very nice book.

What is the fabric made of on the cover?

It's cloth, but it's tight around the cardboard backing so it's sort of a hard cloth, if that makes sense.
