Love this paint! I'm currently updating my bathroom on the cheap and this paint is amazing! I did 2 coats, lightly distressed then polyacrylic bc it's in the bathroom and I wasn't sure how that would go! But you could totally do 1 in most cases I'm sure! I don't have the best quality photos currently. But wanted to show how great its looking! Will update with better pictures once I'm finished!

Amazing color I have a ton of cabinets I ordered 4 of the largest size I only used 2 and did 3 coats a little goes along way ! I will never use another paint for any of my projects ! I paint furniture for a living and all my clients love the results !

UPDATE: Forget my original negative review! I’m leaving it there just so you can see how much my mind has changed, but I feel totally different now! So I just finished my first project with this paint, I decided not to sand and just go for it and see what happens. I AM SO IN LOVE. I cannot believe how well my piece turned out! The paint have proven to be quite durable and even though it’s easy to distress, it still seems to be staying put very well. I think it only scratched off during the test round because it was a thin coat and I didn’t let it dry enough. Guess you really don’t need to prep! There was no smell to give you a headache and you can feel comfortable that it’s safe for your whole family! Highly recommend.Original: I’m excited about this product and really like the color. I’m looking to repaint some old furniture but am not at all an expert so was looking for something easy that anyone can use. I love that it’s non toxic and so safe. I will say that I find the amazon listing rather misleading. It stresses over and over again that you don’t need to prep, however after you pay $30 plus $10 for shipping and it finally arrives, it comes with a booklet that THEN tells you depending on your surface you might have to prep. I also visited the website and it had a lot more language around sanding and priming and all of that where as this listing seems like it’s a miracle product that you can just jump right in and paint. I did a test spot as recommended and of course it scratched right off, so it looks like I will have to do all of the annoying prep work that I paid $40 to avoid.

So... I like this paint and will use it in the future. However, I think I’m going to have to repaint with a different color. I was under the impression that the Licorice color was black with a slight navy undertone. I researched the color before buying. However, it reads significantly more blue than I expected and is clearly more of a very dark navy than a black (see photo with black picture frames in background). The photos don’t actually show how blue it is. Is there not a true black in this product line? I am bummed that I will have to buy a different product to cover the navy.

In retrospect I don’t believe chalk paint was the right style that I was looking for. I painted an IKEA piece in the color Jitterbug and the color is beautiful but the paint type wasn’t what I wanted. I did not want to have an antique look that people usually buy chalk paint for and should have done more research. I’m not reducing stars from this review because of my bad choices.With that in mind here are some notes:- scuffs INCREDIBLY easily. I painted 3 coats and a top coat and the ease at which the paint came off of my piece was really shocking. I should definitely have used a primer in retrospect as I think any type of contact with this piece will scuff it.- dries very quickly!!!- I would say that at least 2 coats of paint are necessary and a top coat is a MUST for full coverage.

I used Bliss to refinish a dresser and vanity, both came out lovely. A little more blue & brighter in person!

I'm an Annie Sloan kind of snob and never used any other product up until now. It's around the same price but because of Covid I haven't wanted to drive to the shop that sells the product so I thought I'd give this one a whirl. I can't tell a difference. It paints well, you can manipulate it the way you want. Same quality, lower price, easier to obtain. I'll be back. I'm very pleased.

This paint covers beautifully! It's beyond effortless and dries extremely quickly. I put it on a contractor's grade bathroom cabinet, and it adhered without the need to sand the surface prior. Due to the color of the cabinet and paint, it did require 2 coats, but this is a children's bathroom and would need it regardless. After it dried, I applied a flooring varnish to form a protective barrier. This paint did scratch off easily without the varnish. I chose the Jitterbug color and am beyond pleased with the color. I will also be applying this paint to my nightstands, and will follow with the same varnish. I would absolutely recommend this paint. Only advice would be to follow-up with a protective coating of sorts. Only downfall was the shipping taking a while, however, it came from B.C. Canada to Missouri, so that is to be expected. It was packaged very well.

Love this paint! I couldn’t find the right colour with my normal brand so I opted for something new. Wow! This paint is so much better than what I was using and at a very comparable cost. Plus an amazing colour palette. Definitely my new go to paint! Thank you for an amazing product

Definitly worth the price. It came with great instructions and a nice packaging. You don’t need to use primer because it covers everyting and the color is Beautiful. I used it on a very old chest and I was quite happy with the result. Will order again!

First chalk paint project and I absolutely loved this paint! Went on so smooth, it dries so fast but be careful... hand marks are super easy to go on so make sure while it’s drying and even after it has dried, keep it in a place where it will be well protected. I sealed mine with a polyurethane sealant. Absolutely love this chalk paint brand. A little goes a long way. Not sheer at all. This 2 coats for this.

This paint is terrible. I bought it because it had such great reviews and the brand I wanted was out of stock in black. Wish I had just waited!First of all, it’s supposed to be an all in one paint, but it’s thin and I had to apply several coats to get good coverage. Then it scratched off in some places, so I had to redo. This was all before I added the sealant!When I finally had what I thought was good coverage, I put on two coats of sealant to protect it (sealant by the same company). Terrible. It didn’t do anything! The slightest bump and the paint would scratch or flake off.I ended up buying the paint I originally wanted and redid the entire cabinet. This paint is a waste of money. I don’t understand how it gets such great reviews. I had a terribly experience and won’t ever buy it again!

Delivery time is terrible! And so is the paint it gets 1 star as it does not cover well for an all in one paint it's not worth the money. The time and effort you put into preparing is wasted, I'll have to redo the whole cabinet. I'm going back to the brand I know works great, unfortunately it's not sold on Amazon.
