DMIPosture Corrector, Unisex, White, Criss-Cross Foam Bands, Extra Large, 46" to 48" Chest Size

I had been suffering from chronic neck/shoulder pain for over two years. Massage, chiropractic, essential oils, TENS ultrasonic all helped but didn't make it go away. This device made the pain go away because it addressed the root cause of the problem, poor posture. I found that the edge of the strap that goes in front and underneath my arm was uncomfortable. I found this to be a common issue with posture correctors. (I have had a couple of different types.) They need to push the shoulders and there is tension in the area in front and under the arm. Most people wouldn't find this a problem but I have very narrow shoulders and am also extra sensitive in this area. I solved the problem by making the modification as seen in the photo. The device still works, but not as effectively as it would otherwise. This compromise is worth it to me. Even so, this is BY FAR the most comfortable posture corrector I have ever worn. My daughter recommended it and she wears hers all day, every day, without any modifications and finds it perfectly fine. I usually wear a size small top so I started with a size small. I purchased a second one and I went up to a medium and found it fits much better.

I have shoulder problems, so I've tried a lot of these. Here are some that I've tried, listed in order of price: Generic Shoulder Support Band Belt Brace Corrector  - Doesn't do much other than irritate your armpits and cut off circulation. Generic Support Belt Band Posture Corrector Brace (L)  - Actually not too bad, although the pull on your shoulders is a little light. Duro-Med Posture Corrector, White, Medium-Large  - The stitching makes this one pretty uncomfortable against the skin. Over clothing might be ok. Digs into your armpits slightly. The velcro catches against clothing if you leave it exposed. Oppo Medical Elastic Posture Aid /Clavicle Brace (Unisex; Natural), X-Large  - Actually comfortable against the skin. Slight digging under the arms, but not that bad. I can wear it most of the day. Posture Corrector Wireless Back Support Bra- Leonisa  - Most comfortable out of all these, wearable all day. Pull is a little light though. Discreet under clothing, can't tell it's there unless you have a really thin shirt. EquiFit Shouldersback Posture Support Lite Medium Black  - Somewhat comfortable against skin, but several areas of stitching dig in. Slight digging under the arms, but only a little more than the Oppo. The velcro is more sensibly designed than the Duro-Med. The triangle back area is a little less breathable than the other options, though.

Too small for medium. I'm a 5' 7" 140 guy. My chest measurement were 36 inches so I ordered the recommended size. I wore it over my dri performance t-shirt. It squeezes your upper chest and back. I felt pain under my arm where the strap was rubbing under my armpit. I recommend you purchase a yoga strap and make a posture corrector with the yoga strap. If you don't know how, google it.

This product does help correcting posture. I have purchased three different brands to try and help with my neck and shoulder pain when sitting at the computer during work. One cuts into my sides and was bulky. One restricted my arms so much that I wouldn't be able to move my arms forward to stop me from falling if I had tripped. The other was just uncomfortable so I had to wear it over my clothes.I prefer this one over any of the others I have. It isn't restrictive so I have no problem moving around at work. It is also comfortable enough to wear under a shirt. However, it does press under my arms so it did become irritating after 8 hours of work. I wrapped a cotton cloth around the strap and it solved the problem. The only other problem I have is that the strap near your neck does ride high so you can see the straps depending on the opening of your shirt. I gave the product 4 stars because I hope they solve the two problems I had.I would buy this product again. It has helped with the knots in my shoulders and my tension headaches have decreased. The other plus is that my husband asked if I was wearing a new bra. It seems good posture has other benefits!

I am pleased with this product. As other reviewers have said before, it's no miracle worker, but it really does help! I slouch at my desk at work and this corrector certainly brings my shoulder blades back. I always force myself to sit that way without the corrector and it gets exhausting. This is much more comfortable and also provides a little support. As a female, I would recommend wearing a sports bra or a tank top under the corrector as the straps can rub your skin. I don't think there is any way to get around this with any product - the straps must pull your shoulders back and therefore a little skin along with it. Overall, very happy with this product!

Decent quality, and comfortable, although I wear it on top of tees/leotards rather than under. Good price, as even Walmart sells it for near $30, plus shipping, and they seem to only have it available online and don't provide free shipping for this particular item. It is not extremely binding, but it does the job. Of course it is always more comfortable not to wear anything, but it's comfortable enough that you almost forget it's on, while helping with posture.

As soon as I put it on, I could already feel a difference in my posture. (I did put it on over a thin shirt). I purchased this to help retrain my body how to hold itself and I'm glad I did. I not only have had issues with slouching while sitting at work, but also since I ride horses, I have always been told to bring my shoulders back. Now I can work towards having better equitation too. :)

I bought this thinking that i would be able to wear it under my clothing for wok. No luck - it cuts into my skin and so i must wear it over clothing. So can only wear it a home. while it works it defeats the purpose of the purchase as i can only wear it for a few hours everyday.
