Can be used to repair aging felt on car weather striping.
The black felt material on my vehicle that covers the interior car window weather stripping which allows the window glass to roll up and down smoothly without catching on exposed rubber was beginning to crack and peel off due to age.The rubber underneath was still in good condition and rather than buying a whole new weather stripping and going through the cost of removing the old and installing the new (which could be expensive depending on the vehicle)I measured and cut the amount needed to cover the exposed rubber, the felt thickness caused the window to peel the felt strip off, but this can be solved by using a shaving razor (think Gillette razor) to shave down a half a millimeter of felt for an ultra thin felt patch. After shaving down some of the material, the felt sticks without the window catching on it while rolling the window up.Looks good and so far I am pleased with the result. My only criticism is that the seller doesn’t offer a felt tape thinner than 1mm. Something paper thin would be outstanding.

Great!
It did the trick! Holds some heavy duty hooks onto my pool where I couldn’t drill. Has weathered well outside.

Works for what I needed
Works for what I needed but peeling off the backing needs the patience of a kindergarten teacher ugh

Best solution for wood rockers on a painted deck
If you are tired of scratching up your newly painted deck with your awesome white rockers then this is a great solution. Just adhere the tape to the full length of the bottom of the rockers. Make sure you clean the surface before adhering the adhesive felt tape.

Used to make tabket grippable
I have a small tablet (8" diag) I use only in bed at night while my husband is sleeping for music, reading, meditations. I like to keep it lightweight, so no cover. I used this tape on the back to make it less slippery, so easier to hold. Worked like a charm, and the tape is thin enough that I can still put the tablet into a cover when I do take it out of the house. Very easy to apply, adheres quickly with little pressure, no bubbles. While I have not tried to remove the tape, it feels like removal would not be too difficult.

Works well enough
I've used this to silence several rattles in my car coming from the paneling. I've removed paneling, applied the tape at contact points, and reassembled the paneling. The only real problem with this tape is the difficulty involved in separating the cover for the adhesive side from the adhesive. It's really, really difficult. A lot of times by the time I finally get the cover separated from the adhesive, I've ended up tearing off and warping a fair amount of the felt at that end. Maybe a thicker cover over the adhesive would make it easier to get a hold of to separate. Not sure. As it is it's really tough and where most of my time ends up going during the process of prepping the location for use, measuring and cutting the tape to size, and applying the tape.In areas where there is a sharp corner, the tape eventually pops loose when it's warm and will not readhere. But since the contact points are already closed by the reattached paneling, it stays in place and continues to silence the rattles. Just doesn't look terribly nice. What I would like, though, is felt tape just like this at half the thinness. This is just a tiny bit too thick for some of the places I want to use it.

Worked great
backing came off just fine. Not sure why some people are having trouble. Worked great to edge some sanded pine board

Backing removal tip that worked for me
Like others , separating the felt from the backing was a bit of a challenge . The first section separated ok because of the way the factory had attached a tape "starter" section . I had cut my length needed already , so the second piece had to be separated . After struggling somewhat initially , I found that my box cutter blade point was a great help in sliding between the felt and the backing (some high powered 4X glasses and good light also helped) . Even though the felt is thin , they adhered to my front porch rockers well , and added floor paint protection , and noise dampening to the rocking motion ! Would purchase again .
