TANDEMKROSS Magazine Assembly Tool for Ruger® 10/22®

Nifty little "gizmo" to help reassemble small caliber ten shot rotary magazines, after you clean them. Probably will use it very, very infrequently; but it is really a convenience when you need to use it, as "winding the spring" that makes the rotation occur is a bit difficult without one of these. Will have this device "forever" as it is durable and the use factor minimal. But--Still a good "price to value" item to have in your weapon cleaning kit.

The diameter of the rod that is supposed to assist in lining up the rotor inside the magazine is too large. If you force it to go in as it's supposed to, you'll damage the rotor's spring. I'm heading to the store to buy replacement magazine because of this defect. It's a shame because at first glance this tool looked like it had a lot of potential.

Nothing against TANDEMKROSS .... this is a nice Tool .... for the right MagazinesI was told by the Sales Staff at Ruger, that this Tool "WILL WORK" on all Ruger Rotary Magazines .... IT DOES NOT !I bought it thinking it would assist in servicing my Deerfield MagsThe 10/22 Magazine and the 77/44 or 99/44 Deerfield Magazines are assembled totally differentThe Spring on the 10/22 tails into the Rotor and the Nut, so this Tool will wind the Spring on the 10/22 Mags as the Tool was intendedBut the Spring on the 77/44 or 99/44 Deerfield tails into the Rotor and the Mag Body, so this Tool is in no way helpful to meIf your Magazine has the Spring on the opposite end of the Nut, like the 77/44, 77/357 or the 99/44 Deerfield, don't buy this Tool to service those Magazines .... it WILL NOT WORK !
