Great book, practical information.
A GUIDE TO SHELTERING – IN – PLACE is a great guide, for those that interested in being prepared, and would like to know the basics of staying place for a period of days or weeks during an emergency. It is a good guide for those, like me, that have been preparing for longer and already experienced. The book is easy to understand, and is a practical guide, for families or groups that want to understand sheltering, or staying in place safely. It is what it clames to be, a guide to sheltering in place. After having read the book, I purchased four additional copies for family and friends that have expressed an interst in understanding how to prepare for a major disaster.

Critical Omission
The content of this booklet covers only the most basic considerations. Serious inquirers should consider acquiring the "bible" of preparedness and survival, 'Dare To Prepare' by Holly Deyo.Also, this author omits the critical issue of sewage disposal/backup when the lights go out, particularly if your shelter is connected to a municipal system.Consider the experiences of those who sheltered in the Superdome following hurricane Katrina or those trapped on the disabled Carnival cruise ship in February, 2013. You will need a plan B when your shelter becomes uninhabitable!

Brief reminder
The information is just "OK", and probably not new to anyone who is familiar with being prepared. The book is a brief reminder for anyone who isn't prepared, without going into much detail. Being prepared takes awareness of current events, understanding of your own situation, common sense, and trust that you'll be guided once you do your due diligence.

A very nice book for a "basic" understanding of the subject. You will need to research more and purchase a more complete book of information if you want in depth information. Seller experience was excellent.

A Guide To Sheltering-In-Place
This is a must have book in any library. There are facts and actual events to learn from in it. Facts on food storage to water treatment. This book will be in my personal library and will be a great gift for friends and neighbors to read.

Prep starter book
Good for someone just starting out in prepping. Wish there were checklists or something along the lines of instructions. more like a general overview guide.
