Both flavors are present
You have to taste it in order to appreciate this unique combination of two classic flavors. The bourbon definitely is there, but not so strong that it overpowers the apple butter. Even though I thought it a little pricey, I liked it enough to send jars to four different family members. If you're a fan of bourbon, apple butter, or both, I recommend you give it a taste and see what you think.
