Sweet with the perfect kick
Mike’s Hot Honey has a really good balance of sweetness and heat. It adds the perfect kick without being overpowering, and it works great on pizza, chicken, biscuits, and even breakfast foods. The flavor stands out without needing a lot, so a little goes a long way. Definitely one of those things that’s easy to keep reaching for.

I use this honey in my English Breakfast/Irish Breakfast TEA! So good in tea! Must try! Great seller too!
I “resorted” to buying Mike’s hot honey when it proved futile to obtain the Bee’s Knees spicy honey I thought was the “One and Only” for me. And I’m glad I did! I use this only for my TEA in the morning! I always enjoy a big mug of hot milky tea (1 teabag of English breakfast, and two bags of Irish breakfast tea in one mug, then I put in enough whole milk and enough spicy honey!) Yummmm! I’m drinking it now! I think this honey is BETTER the bees knees because it’s hotter! And I was so delighted when, last week, when i happened to notice that amazon was having difficulty getting the order I placed for the hot honey delivered. I was away with no mailbox so I had put the delivery address of my father in law who uses a PO Box sometimes, his home addy other times. I don’t know which one I’d used for my delivery but Amazon had written they’d made one attempt already and would be trying again. I was leaving that day, going back home, so I contacted the “seller” and explained that I was relocating, and would they, could they, please, redirect the package to my home address? And it arrived practically the following day! So! Thanks to Amazon, thanks to the seller, thanks to Mike, who ever he is, for this great cup of spicy tea I’m enjoying this snowy morning. Warms my heart. Oh one more thing. Love the way they designed how the honey pours forth. Smart. No drippy messes. I ordered 3 more bottles today because I like it so much I don’t want to run out.

HEALTHY & DELICIOUS!
I am TOTALLY impressed with this product and company. I just emailed them a question to find out if the product was pasteurized or cold infused, because I was curious about the nutritional quality of Mike's Hot Honey. (Pleasantly shock) I received the following response 10 minutes later, "Thanks for reaching out! We do not heat above 110 degrees F, since we use a cold infusion process for with the chilis. We don't refer to our honey as raw, but I hope that answers your question. Kind regards, Michelle" Sooo, anyone interested in knowing if the nutritional properties of the honey have been altered will be happy to know that this product contains ALL of the inherent healthy properties of honey! YAY - great news! For those worried that the product might be too spicy, I would say it is not too spicy. I find that it leaves a pleasant spicy tingle in your mouth. I agree with another reviewer that on a scale of 1-10, I'd rate it a 4. The sweetness of the honey offers a great balance to the heat. This would be great as a dip for veggies, chicken, pork chops, pizza, salmon, and any other foods that you think might benefit from a little bit of zip!!! At $8.95, Amazon's price is $2 lower than my local grocer (Giant Eagle). It does not need to be refrigerated after opening. You could store it in the fridge if it would make you feel better; however, know that it will flow best at room temp. Also, I think a little bit goes a long way. I dispense a small amount at a time to avoid wasting any precious deliciousness of this wonderful product! Anyone who likes a little bit of sweet with a little bit of spice will LOVE this product!

Sweetness And Heat
Was looking forward to trying this considering the rave reviews and i'm not sorry I did. It has an interesting taste. Would I say I was blown away...no, but I wasn't disappointed either, I liked it. It tastes like honey with a kick- good quality honey. As far as hotness i'd rate the heat level about a 4-6, if 10 is the hottest, 1 the least hot. Has a nice kick to it. I'm not a huge honey fan to begin with so for me to like this says something. I can see it being good on wings. I also enjoyed it with some dairy foods, on top of it, which surprised me. Works well with things like cottage cheese and ice cream. Tried it on pizza... I prefer my pizza without it but it still wasn't bad. Overall, it makes a nice addition to your sauce collection, is versatile and can be used with many different foods. If you like honey and you like heat you will probably enjoy this.

Kicks up you pizza several notches.
We discovered pizza with hot honey in the North End of Boston a few years ago. This products adds great flavor and depth to our homemade pizza, especially paired with soppresata or a similar meat. Just the right intensity of heat (quite mild for those prefer a strong kick).

Great for Asian Dishes!
This, along with Tabasco and RealSalt, are my favorite condiments! I used this last night in place of white sugar in my coleslaw and it was sublime! I will also start using this in my Nuoc Cham fish sauce dressing for my Green Thai Papaya Salad, dipping sauce (Hoisin, sesame seed oil, salt, minced garlic, Mike's Hot Honey) and as a glaze for Korean Barbeque Chicken and Japanese Mitarashi Dango sticks (balls of mochi on a stick with sweet shoyu and honey glaze). If I can't get my Mitarashi Dango fix, I'll just squirt this onto my shoyu-fried mochi squares! Because this item is understandably on the pricier side, I'll use this honey as an accent and not a staple cooking ingredient; I may use some brown or white sugar as the base and this as a layer of flavor on the top. I saw this product during a Black Friday sale and it was sold out, so I was naturally curious and ordered it full-price of $8.48 and it's worth every cent. I'll be back for more!!

Hot, Sweet & Sticky!
I received my first bottle of Mike's Hot Honey as a gift from a friend awhile back. Wow! Used wisely, this honey is not too hot for the heat sensitive, and adds an unusual dimension to a wide variety of foods. This is not some macho, super hot, "Dare you to try this." item. If you're a little creative in the kitchen, this can be a really useful product to have on the shelf, and will up your game a notch. I like to put 2 teaspoons into my fat free plain Greek yogurt every morning and stir it in well. Creamy, slightly sweet, and not too warm, it beats the overly sweet fruity yogurt blends hands down, and only adds 50 calories, which isn't bad at all. I've also used small drizzles across the top of my homemade pizzas, just after they come out of the oven. Sounds odd, but everyone who's eaten a slice comments on how good it tastes, and are surprised when I tell them what I did. Try sweetening your hot tea with a drizzle to add some sweetness and subtle warmth on a chilly day.Salad dressings, marinades, my list goes on. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with where you can go with this.

Oh Mike how I yearn for your honey.
Oh Micheal, what can be said about your most hot of honeys that has yet to be said? My tongue yearns for the sweet burn, as my mouth opens almost on its own in anticipation for this honey. Ive spent days, nay, weeks obsessing over the feeling of the honey, drizzling into my mouth and down my chin, as I try so desperately to lap up every last drop, of this sweet, spicy, and undoubtedly succulent honey. The honey has nearly consumed my entire life as I cannot prepare a dish without looking into the pantry longingly, wondering if this honey will improve yet another unexpected food item (it always does) and bring me endless joy and satisfaction. I have nary a doubt that if you, a fellow consumer, purchase this tantalizing, appetizing, incredibly satisfying honey, you will NOT regret it. Please, i beg of you, do yourself a favor and put this on every food item you shove down your gullet for the rest of your otherwise mundane life. Sincerely, Michelle hot honey.

Mikes is the best
I have tried several hot honeys, but Mike's is just the best! I dont think any of the other brands I have tried hold a candle to this one, I will say the extra hot Mikes was much for me heat-wise, but the normal one is great and I use it daily. it is a bit pricey but I think it's worth the cost for how much I use and love the taste

Ridiculously, ridiculously good
I'm not even that much of a honey fan and I can't remember the last time I liked a condiment this much. It's also super strong, so you only need a little drizzle. I love that it doesn't have additives or extra chemical-laden preservatives.
