Didn't get to use it for one whole season due to other pool problems last year. Just got done getting my pool up and running and the salt water pump won't even turn on! Won't be buying another from Amazon. Go to your local pool supply store

If you are tired of constantly adding shocker and chlorine tablets to your pool then you might want consider converting to a salt water pool. Although the initial cost is quite high, not having to deal with the cost of tablets and shocker will make up the difference in the long run. Bags of salt is a lot cheaper in my opinion and requires a lot less maintenance. Although, I went ahead and got the complete setup, if you pump and sand filter is in good working order, all you will need to add is the saltwater system. Very easy setup. Just make sure you follow the instructions.

I just want to thank Spreetail as a company. They have awesome customer service! When I was having issues with this salt water generator (13 months after I got it) I emailed them and they were able to provide me everything I needed to get a warranty claim processed through intex. Right down to the tracking on the package. I will stress that the malfunction of the generator was no fault of this company only the quality of intex products itself.

We had been looking since the end of last season, but understood that COVID had interrupted the supply chain. This salt water system is better than the one that came with the original pool. Easy to install and powerful! My pool cleared right up after running it a couple of days and out salt/chlorine levels are spot on. Thank you Intex and Amazon!

This product doesn't work. It has never chlorinated the pool. Then I woke up the other morning and it won't even turn on. The plug lights up so it's not anything like that. Amazon refuses to help so I have now wasted hours on hold trying to speak to someone at Intex.It was also missing an important valve piece when I received it but it was going to take over a week to get a replacement so I went ahead and ordered my own. Does intex not understand what a week of stagnat water does to a pool?

It's quite and the equipment is everything I wanted for my 18x48 pool

First time pool owner of an INTEX 12x24. Here in Alberta, Canada. I did alot of research, this was a great fit for us, as the included pump would have a hard time keeping up, according to alot of reviews. This works great, we have a very clean clear pool. Only at the cabin on weekends, so we count on this & the added Intex Salt water system to have the pool ready for family on weekends. fairly fast shipping, easy hook up, Easy to operate. Only thing I would change is the timer system. It starts from the moment you turn it on, runs for the hours you choose, however I would like to set it myself , saying lets start at 8am and run for 8 hours. Like a timer on your Outdoor Christmas lights. as of now, I would recommend to a friend. Plan to drain, clean, store away for the -30 Celcius winter months, hope all is good in the spring.

Dislike programmability. Wish it was on a timer so you can set the times you want it to run. You must start it at the time you want it to run; then it runs at that time every 24hrs.
