It did the trick !
I used this on an Audi S4 B5 2.7 L TwinTurbo at the water pump outlet hose side connector. It said that it was not a match for this vehicle but it did work. There is a hard ring above the rubber O-ring that I had to remove from the new unit to allow it to fit on the existing receiving piece. No more leak !
