Kendama USAReplacement Strings [10 Pack] Extra Long, 10 Assorted Colors, Includes Bearings & Restringing Tool

This is my second time purchasing this product because I enjoy the durability and thickness of these strings. I bought a second pack to string up new setups and maybe replace some dirty strings. It is definitely the updated extra length that includes bearings, beads, and strings like advertised. The length is 27.5 inches, which is roughly 2 finger lengths longer than most kendama companies use as their default string length.I have setups I’ve used religiously for the last year with these strings on them and there are zero signs of withering.My only suggestions for KUSA is to consider removing one of the pink strings and replace it with something else (white, dark purple, dark green, secondary black string, etc). Also less beads and more bearings.Over all, a fantastic product from a great company. I’m sure I’ll be back next year when I need these again lol

I saw a few reviews that made us kind of nervous after already ordering so I wanted to come and do review since we received the strings today! First off this replacement string is from Kendama USA, which is a good brand in the Kendama community. I saw people saying that it doesn’t include any beads or stringing tools, I’m not sure if they updated this fairly recently, but I will let you know what our package included:10 different, colored strings, seven beads, three bearings, two stringing tools (and zero marsupials lol)My husband has yet to restring his kendama, but did get one string from the package to check length and things since that was another common complaint. While the strings are on the longer side, they are not “too long” or “too short” as some reviews have mentioned (at least not from what we have seen so far!).I will come back and update should anything change but if you are like us, and got nervous from the few poor reviews, don’t let that sway you :)

These strings last longer than the original string that came with my sons Kendama, which is great because there are 10 of them in the pack. The different colors are fun and add a touch of character. I bought these so the strings can be replaced once he notices shredding on the one he is currently using. It can be dangerous if the string breaks in mid-play and the hard, heavy ball flies off. I doubt I will have to buy them again because they are pretty tough.

These are the old replacement strings. These are short and only come with the plastic beads, not metal bearings, and no restringing tools. They are in a white package not the black one in the picture. They are good quality but not the product advertised. They also should retail for only around 4 dollars. I'll be buying the correct product directly from Kendama USA now.

Great product and very timely. Students at school love kendamas and it is great to be able to help them fix them for them.

great value, but they should include a needle (or something) that will assist with replacing the string. struggled with my grandson's jumbo kendama. doesn't come with instructions, so we learned by doing it several times before getting it right. allows you to personalize your kendama
