ASURION 4 Year Kitchen Protection Plan ($200 - $249.99)

I believed I was ordering a toaster oven. Rather, I got an email informing me that I had spent either $200 - $249.99 (it varies) on an Asurion 4 Year Kitchen Protection Plan.Usually Amazon is good, but in this case, I feel defrauded.

I have purchased this insurance on several items. This is the first time I had to use it on my Panasonic microwave. Less than 3 years old. Took 2 weeks to get a response. I wanted a replacement but they would only give me back the money I paid for it. The same model is now more than $70+ I purchased insurance again because it’s a built In with a stainless frame which doesn’t fit other microwaves. I wanted it fixed but they wouldn’t send anyone out. Such a waste. Now I have to find a place where I can recycle it..

Absolutely awful and deceptive warranty program.

I purchased a protection plan from Asurion for my refurbished laptop a while back. When the touchpad stopped working, they provided excellent service, repairing and returning it in short order. The new plan I bought is for a new dehumidifier, so as the headline above says, "Kitchen Protection Plan" is an odd name. One thing though: it's not actually a 4 year plan, insofar as the 4 years are FROM DATE OF PURCHASE, so this overlaps the manufacturer's warranty. I'm not accusing Asurion of deception, that may be stated somewhere, but if so I missed it. Thus 4 stars instead of 5.

Danger. Didn’t order it the Seller doesn’t ship anything - I canceled it several times and the rebuild my credit card. Amazon worked on the problem. I finally closed my credit card.The product is a total rip off sand offers no value. i only read about the product because I couldn’t get them to return the money. I think Amazon should carry this product.

Definitely need to have the protection plan for my appliance.... better to have it and not need it.

Nothing to see just a 2 year warranty on my ninja foodi.
