Sizzix"Love Birds 3-D Rose Bigz Die, Black

Questa recensione si riferisce alla fustella Sizzix Bigz numero 661750. Lo specifico perché al momento su Amazon la foto della rosa è giusta, ma la descrizione è sbagliata e parla di "Sizzix Thinlits Fustella, 3-D Rose", mentre questa fustella è una Bigz, adatta quindi a tagliare anche i materiali più spessi. È compatibile con tutte le fustellatrici Big Shot. Allego foto con una moneta per dare un'idea delle dimensioni. Avevo avuto qualche difficoltà ad assemblarla, perché partivo al contrario, metto una foto della sagoma, bisogna partire ad arrotolare dalla punta più esterna della spirale, che diventerà il centro della rosa, il cerchietto al centro della spirale finirà invece a coprire la base della rosa. La rosa ottenuta mi piace molto e il taglio è perfetto, come tutte le Sizzix. Pagata 13,48 euro a dicembre 2018, venditore Amazon.

Please don’t buy this die if you have anything other than a sizzex big machine, I received this today hoping to use it as a normal die, cannot be used on my trusty Grand Calibur that I have been using for over 10 years, the description is deceptive, please avoid if you have a machine like mine, terrible waste of money

This is a Bigz Die and I bought it to create my own flowers; I must admit it took me a few attempts to get the technique right. The die cuts a spiral shape and you need to use a tweezers or other tool to mould the spiral around in order to create the flower shape. Its takes a bit of practice and wasn't as easy as I had hoped. I also found it worked better with heavier materials. i.e. felt. I created a beautiful flower in minutes using felt but more work was need when using paper. However, I am still very pleased with the die and as it is a Bigz die I can cut heavier materials so I look forward to experimenting with different ones.

It's almost mandatory to use a glue gun to make these. Not brilliant as I thought it would be quick and easy. Also you need to use something to cover that gap in the middle. Hence the pearls, which I wondered why there had to be pearls in flowers!

I love this die, makes very pretty roses and easy to do...would recomend this.
