Once the installation issues were behind me, now looking forward to the Loo!
(edited) When I first went to install this item, I found my toilet shutoff valve had a 3/8" output, with a 3/8" to 7/8" hose to the toilet tank. The supplied Tee fitting and hose is 1/2". I made a trip to the hardware store , picked up a new valve and tank hose, and installed them. This does require shutting off the house water system - if you are not familiar or competent in plumbing, you should call in a professional plumber to complete this installation (it will save you any issues with leaks later on).Another important point - when installing the mounting bracket for the seat, make sure there is 1/8" to 1/4" clear space between the back of the seat and the toilet tank. This will ensure the internal bleed valve will completely close. If you mount it so the back of the seat is even lightly touching the tank, the seat may lock in place, but the valve will remain open. Do this and it will save you more headaches. This does mount the seat right at the front of the bowl, but that can't be helped with an aftermarket seat. Now that I have the installation done correctly, the seat and bidet functions work exactly as they should. Unfortunately, the seat does not remember the last position of the wand, so you will need to adjust it every time you use it, but I found this is common to many of the aftermarket bidet seats. The seat is heated, and is the water (no coming up off the seat when cold water hits you!), and has several different cleaning settings and operations. The drying fan really isn't strong enough to do the job, but I don't think I've read about any that are; you almost need a hair dryer for that :) The seat determines if someone is seated on it, so it's not going to accidentally shoot water everywhere if you are not on it.So you may end up using a bit of TP or a hand towel for drying, but you won't have to worry about shortages in the stores anymore. It'll take a bit of time to get used to for most Americans, but you very well may end up "enjoying" it. And in your next bathroom remodel, you may end up installing a separate bidet like they have in many other countries.

Works Well Except Dry Function - If In America Be Aware You Will Need to Buy Additional Materials
Overall we enjoy the bidet, however be aware before buying this bidet does NOT fit standard American plumbing sizes. The t-valve that comes with it does not fit standard water valve sizes in America. Had to run to Lowe’s and 2 plumbing stores to figure out a solution. You can see in my second photo the extra attachments we had to purchase in order to get the sizing to match. Fortunately the parts only costed $10, but I was still annoyed to have to run to 3 different store and purchase additional materials for this to fit our standard sized water valve. The bidet itself is nice. The heated seat is lovely as well as the different water angling settings. My only complaint about the functionality of the bidet is the dry function. I was hoping to have the dry function replace my use of toilet paper, however even with the heat turned up all the way there is still a lot of water left.
