I first discovered the Ecolution Artistry pans in my local grocery store. At that time, I was in need of a griddle pan, so I decided to purchase their  Ecolution Artistry 11" Griddle . I was attracted to the eco-friendly non-stick coating on these pans--they use a water-based, Hydrolon non-stick coating rather than traditional Teflon/PFOAs--and I admit, I also loved the cute green flower pattern on the bottom! I wound up loving the griddle, so I was interested in purchasing other pans from the Ecolution Artistry line.I have found the Ecolution Artistry Cookware Set to be excellent as well. First, it arrived to me from Amazon extremely well-packaged (please see the photo I added to the item listing above). Second, the performance of these pans is AMAZING--I have NEVER seen a non-stick pan do its job so well! Foods just slide around, with very little oil/other coating needed. (NOTE: As per the instructions, I did "season" this set with a very light coat of cooking oil prior to first use.) Although all of the Artistry pots are dishwasher-safe, I prefer to hand-wash (to preserve the outer finish as well as the overall life of the pans). I could practically just rinse the pans or wipe them out with a paper towel, they are THAT non-stick.I think that this 8-piece set is excellent, but I wanted to mention that I have purchased a few additional pieces. In addition to the  Griddle  mentioned above (which was purchased about 6 months ago and has performed flawlessly), I also recently purchased the  Ecolution Artistry Chicken Fryer  and the  Ecolution Artistry 2-Quart Saucepan . I should also note that the two frying pans which are included in this set do NOT come with lids; this wasn't an issue for me, although it may be for others.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this set! I highly recommend the Ecolution Artistry series, both for their excellent non-stick performance as well as for their eco advantage.

When I first received my order, I was not very impressed - one of my pans had a very large dent in the side of it. Amazon (who has amazing customer service) quickly sent me a new set though and now I get to enjoy these quality products! I found this set while I was searching for safer cookware. I wanted to switch to something that was healthier and better for the environment, yet also affordable. Cooking with these is different than other pans I have cooked with, but in a good way. There's no need to use any oil or cooking spray and everything heats very evenly. The clean-up is my favorite part though. Even if I leave a pan sitting there for an hour or two after I cook something, I just add a little soap and water and all the food comes off so easily! No scrubbing or anything. The sizes of the pans and pots in the set are also great. Be warned: don't use any harsh cleaners or metal utensils on these. I use Mrs. Meyer's dish soap to clean these and bamboo or silicone utensils. As long as you're careful and take good care of this set, I think you will be very pleased with your purchase!

I had purchased an Ecolution frying pan at a local supermarket years ago and was amazed at how long it has lasted without the non-stick coating failing like other very expensive pans I have had in the past. So I purchased a whole set for my home for 100 bucks and now a smaller set for my New York apartment. These pans are inexpensive and based on my experience I am sure they will perform for a long time with minimal care. I only wish the 8-inch frying pan came with the smaller set I bought. The large set even comes with lots of wooden spoons that have proven very useful. I highly recommend these utensils.

For daily cookware, these work well. The non-stick surface works very well and they are simple to clean. The rubber handles are comfortable and stay cool.No warping like some of the reviews state. You must let them cool before cleaning or I'm sure they will warp. So far, so good. Some small discoloration on the bottom surfaces.

I wanted to wait to write a review so that I could ensure that these were quality products. We have had the cookware set for about 6 months, and we love these pans. Even if food sits in the pan for days, the food dries out and can be easily wiped out. Washing is a breeze! If you take care of these pans, much like you would for teflon non-stick pans, [use only plastic utensils and soft washing materials] then these will last a long time. I have noticed that the pans cook more evenly than our stainless steel set and deliver great tasting food. Our family highly recommends the Ecolution Artistry 8 piece cookware set because of the quality, price, and the PTFE free non-stick surface. For those of you who don't know, PTFE is the non-stick portion in Teflon, and is deemed "likely carcinogenic". Hope you enjoy this as much as we are.

I almost never write product reviews but I've owned this pot and pan set for almost five years now and I'm incredibly impressed with their value. After five years of heavy use they're still in great shape. The nonstick coating is fully intact and there is no deformation. Even though they are lightweight they still have decent heat distribution. Make no mistake, these don't replace a nice heavy duty skillet for nicer meals, but for the money you just can't beat their quality for normal everyday cooking. Highly recommended.

I am happy with this set. I bought a skillet from Ecolution a while back and I realized how well it held up. I dont put mine in the dishwasher, I just hand wash. But they held up so well, I had to order the whole set. I had the P aula D een set before and it was ruined within a year of having it, the black was coming off in our food. This is the most amazing non stick surface I've had and its holding up so well. Of course its not the best of the best thats out there I'm sure, but if your on a budget and want a good set of pots and pans, this is a great option!

I've bought ecolution products in the past, but this set was just disappointing. Flimsy and two of the pots showed up bent where the lids wouldn't fit on. Good price but still not worth the money.

This cookware is so easy to clean that I bought a whole set. It recommends using lower heat, so I worry when I have to boil water for eggs or potatoes, but that is my only concern so far.

The makers of this set sell it on its "eco-friendliness". If one only ever cooks their food on medium, they work great. But being a fan of Julia Child, I like to fry on high heat with butter for omelets and a few other dishes. It also annoys me that one can't leave the pan on the burner once the burner has been turned off as the paint will begin to melt with your burner or stove-top. There are just some foods I can't prepare properly in this cookware and wish I had saved my dollars for a more costly set of stainless steel. For dollar-value, however, I have to concede that you probably won't get a better set for the money.
