This is a very early review but I thought I would do it anyway. Ordered this to fill it with photo film. I need it cold. I waited 48 hours with freezer in the house before plugging it in. Then I left it plugged in for 48 hours to cool down. It got nice and cold just as I expected. Then I put in the film. It has been working fine since loading it up also. It is exactly what I expected as far as size and performance. Have to wait longterm to see if it holds up but it seems like a great product at a great price. No dents and appearance is great

This is a good size freezer. I moved from South Carolina to Florida in June of this year. My refrigerator/freezer at my other home was a nice side by side. The one in my new house is TINY. I bought this freezer for extra space because I meal prep for both myself and my dog. It seems to be very efficient, keeps things frozen and was delivered in perfect condition. It does get a bit of frost on it pretty quickly but is easy to defrost.

I got the freezer because the house I'm renting has a smaller than normal fridge, and my roommate and I buy in an ordinate amount of frozen vegetables. I no longer had room for my frozen junk food and ice packs and needed a remedy! After much research, this unit seems like the best value for the price so into the cart it went. It arrived unscathed well packaged, there was damage to the box along one corner but the freezer was packed inside in another box so it was fine. It was easy enough to plug in, though the temperature adjustment is on the back and I did not realize that until I had already pushed it against the wall in a somewhat difficult to reach place. That and the noise it makes is what earns it four stars, though I do understand that a small freezer is going to make a certain amount of noise. I've had it a month or so now and filled it up over a few weeks. No ice buildup so far, and it keeps everything frozen very well though I did have to change it to a lower temperature then the default it shipped with. I'm overall happy with the unit and if I could give it 4.5 stars I would.

We got this to store the overflow from our small refrigerator freezer. Firstly, it arrived a day earlier than expected. We allowed the freezer to remain in the box overnight to allow the coolant etc., to settle. The next day we unboxed it and were impressed with how well the freezer had been packaged for shipping. After removing the packaging we found the freezer to be in perfect condition. It was lighter than expected (yet very sturdy) and easy to maneuver into place. The glass shelves inside were also well secured to avoid breakage, and are removable allowing for taller items if needed. The inside is much larger than we imagined it would be which is a plus. The real test would be how it works. We decided to test it by putting in an ice tray to see how long it would take to freeze. We set the temperature at the recommended 4 to start and left the tray for about two hours. When we checked, the water wasn’t quite frozen so we increased the temperature to 5 and left it for another hour by which time it was completely frozen. Afterwards we transferred food from our burgeoning refrigerator freezer into our new Kismile Upright Freezer. Again, we were surprised at how much room we still have inside even after these items were put in. We will monitor the freezer over the next few weeks to see if it continues to meet our expectations, but in all we are very pleased with the Kismile Upright Freezer, and highly recommend it.

Our apartment freezer is not big enough for us, so we decided to grab an inexpensive secondary freezer for the kitchen. For the money we paid, we're very happy with it. It runs quiet, has a good capacity, and isn't so big that it takes up a crazy amount of space. We've been able to make Costco runs and fit all our purchases in it (though we do shop keeping its size in mind). We haven't had any problems with frost or freezer burn, or items not staying hard frozen. Great value for the money.

Purchased this freezer back in 2020. Paid $350!! Worked great for 4 1/2-5yrs. It always had some frost build up but nothing that couldn't be managed. I would say about 3yrs ago, it started building up more frost and ice pretty fast and more frequently! A few weeks ago, I defrosted the freezer before I went on my 2-week trip. Didn't have too many packages in the freezer. When I came back and opened my freezer, it was a FROSTED MESS!! Had to throw everything out! Had dealt with frost build up before but nothing like this! Would NOT recommend this freezer!! As others have stated, the frost build up will eventually become too much and it builds up FAST!! Look elsewhere!!

The mini freezer arrived, in the box from the manufacturer. It was very well packaged. It was removed from the box and inspected. Swapping the front door to the left side, was very easy. Removing the top door hinge cover, is illustrated in the manual. The screw hole plugs were swapped from left to right screw holes. This allowed the needed left screw holes, for the top hinge, to be exposed. Top and bottom hinges, each has two screws. After the door swap, the mini freezer was taken to its operating location. It has a sticker, on the front door, which says, let the freezer sit for 4hrs before plugging in. Due to having the freezer on its back, during the door swap. I let the freezer sit from 6pm until the following morning, 10am. It's very important to allow the freezer to sit, so any oil or refrigerant which has left the compressor, during transport, or being on its side, for any reason, has the opportunity to return to the compressor. If not, you risk damaging the compressor. The freezer was plugged in and the first thing I noticed was how quiet it operated. I placed a freezer thermometer at the bottom of freezer and left the house. When I arrived, two hours later, it was minus one. It appeared to me, it was quieter than when I left. I placed my hand on it and it was vibrating, it was on. At this point, I also noticed that the outside of the freezer felt warm. I'm not sure why. Over all, I'm happy with the purchase.
