Froggy's Flakes Snow Machine Fluid Concentrate, 8 fl. oz, Extra-Dry Formula Snow Fluid with 30 Feet Float/Drop, Makes 4 Gallons of Snow Fluid

My biggest question when I went to buy this was, ’how does it compare to the premixed?’. Well, as far as use and display go, I’ve used both Froggy’s premixed snow liquid and snow concentrate and I didn’t notice anything different between the two. With that in mind, here’s my review of this particular product as well as my feelings on the fluid in general.The only issue I had with this concentrate was the actual mixing. The directions given are for mixing the entire bottle at once - so you need a large jug for the mixing. I didn’t have a large jug on hand - and everything in my kitchen was too small to mix this all at once. So, that was a problem. I ended up sorta eyeballing the measurements making about half at a time…I wanted this to be exact because I didn’t want the flakes to be to liquid-y or clumpy. Turns out, close is good enough as far as the mixing goes.As for the flakes, I don’t have the Froggy branded machine, I went for one that was around $100 with good reviews. BUT, I think it performs about as well as any consumer/pro-sumer grade machine. So, you can expect this same result: the flakes are less ‘flakey’ and more like little clumps of foam bubbles. Most often they can look like a flurry of snow, and they do not look like bubbles or bubble bath.The ‘flakes’ were light and long lasting. Floating approx. 3-4 feet from the machine at ground level and up to 15-20 feet when the machine was 8’ in the air. Running the machine solid for an hour, there ended up being a pretty consistent 2-3” coating of ‘snow’ on the ground within the immediate 6’ vicinity.One extra note, there was a smell to the concentrate that I didn’t notice in the pre-mixed, but that was only noticeable during mixing - once in the machine there was no smell.In the future, I won’t order the concentrate if I can avoid it. I’d rather just have the big pre-mix jug delivered and pay the difference (currently about $5).

We bought this for our 70 degree christmas day in Florida. The kids loved it, it was so magical! Can also be used year round for projection as well as a fog machine at Halloween.

The media could not be loaded. Snow is very realistic. Using on our sidewalk so needed something not slippery. This is perfect!

We had to use indoors due to a bad rain storm. We were worried because of slick concrete floors but we had zero issues with the floor’s getting slick. Highly recommend for indoors or out

Being in Texas, it's hard to have a White Christmas. This product with the Froggy's snow machine worked great to provide volumes of "snow" or the front yard.I would not use it indoors due to the moistness of the bubbles but outdoor it worked great. One gallon was maybe about an hour and a half of non-stop snow.

Works perfectly. Great size for storage.

Love this product and my Froggys snow making machine. All the grandkids had a great time at our Christmas Eve party in the “snow”. Easy to add water to the concentrate and “snow” make away!
