Sneakers with a Tuxedo.
First let me say these type of cups are the only way to go when drinking Tequila or Mescal. Not using these for Tequila is like wearing sneakers with a Tuxedo. Now, even when I drink Whiskey or Scotch, I use them. I just don't use glass any more and who in their right mind would drink from plastic. It's just disrespectful !Something cool to know is that they get cool to the touch. I usually add at least one piece of ice and more if I drink a Paloma (Mescal grapefruit, and ice) or a Margarita of some kind. In that case they get even cooler. On a Summer day it's an added perk.Glass and plastic cups don't have this quality. These are bigger than any I've owned previously.I've read reviews of other products asking if clay cups have lead so I asked the seller and they informed me that only ones that have glazing would have lead. These feel better in the hands than others. I think the Don Julio cups are smoother which to me detracts from the whole south of the border milieu.Just tip. The best margarita I've ever had was made from Mescal (not Tequila), and Jamaica (a tea made from Hibiscus flowers) - not blended with ice like a 7-11 Slurpee but rather on the rocks. I feel that in the case of Margaritas made with Tequila, the Tequila can't be tasted. If you don't want to taste it, just order a juice drink and slip in some Vodka into the restaurant. Save some money.Tequila gets lost in sweet juices and anything gets lost in blended ice.

Was not what I expected
These are really thin and once I opened them to wash, two of them broke. I did not like the quality.
