1. The e-Post is one of the worst designed bike components I've owned.2. The rubber parts rot, hence the need to buy this seat post maintenance kit.3. Minor adjustments in height - like when you use thicker padded shorts, require a ludicrous about of effort, and are limited.4. The 695 post is almost impossible to access with a torque wrench without taking off the seat.5. The seat post shells on the 596 crack easily (I have both bikes)6. The post cost 300% more than a workable seatpost. And the replacement parts (which shouldn't need replacing) are hard to find.7. There's a host of usability/maintainability issues with Look's highly proprietary designs --- but the "e-post" is the crown jewel.8. There's probably an essay to be written on issues with buying bikes with proprietary components; needless to say I'll never do it again.

Una suerte que se pueda disponer de este conjunto completo como repuesto. Viene con varias arandelas para ajustar la altura, los tres elastómeros, y la pieza roscada del final, dos unidades. Curiosamente, sólo trae una arandela de las que van en la tija, antes de meter el elastómero. Ah, el precio muy razonable para ser repuesto original Look.
