It works fine but my coper coffee pot it needs continuous maintenance.

It does take some elbow grease, but it works! I bought these vintage solid brass whales (knife or chopstick rests) and used this polish with a soft bristled, natural fiber toothbrush and a Microfiber cloth. One of the whales has a stubborn spot of tarnish that I improved at least 50% but will need to spend more time on. Overall though, it looks pretty miraculous. These damn near look sterling. Smell is strong, but not the worst polish smell. No irritation on skin or respiratory aggrevation. I give it an A.

Love Howard's. This will become a staple in my cleaning arsenal. I use it weekly on my living room furniture and the result on Hard-RockMaple, which is 60-years old is awesome! I put it on the wood surfaces & come back 30min. later and wipe it off with retired cloth diapers and it is rich, with lines in the wood shining beautifully. I also use it on my 75-year old family table that was my cherished Grannies. It is a heavy old round, not sure what kind of wood, dining table. The same process is applied and it too, is just gorgeous.

I think it works better for brass than copper, but overall very pleased with the purchase.

To make this work you need to apply it on the copper item and then work it in with a brush (a toothbrush will do). Then wipe with a cloth and polish. Use gloves! It's the easiest way to do it. The instructions say to use a cloth to apply it, but that doesn't create enough friction to run off the patina and also absorbs too much of the product so you'll use it up quickly and not have great results.

Easy to use. Shake well. apply & polish. My copper looks so shiny. I also use Howard PineOla Silver Polish. do trust the Howard Pine-Ola name!
