Fold into small pack...perfect for tarp pole when bikepacking
I wanted a walking pole that folded down small for off road bikepacking....normal walking poles are around 70 cm when retracted....these are around 30 cm....which make them so easy to carry around ...I only need one to use with a tarp tent, which use walking poles and not tent poles to save weight....and with a max reach of 135 cm. It’s a minefield choosing walking poles, and I scrolled down to find these, with lots of positive reviews....no wonder, they came yesterday...they are very very well made, sturdy and not just cheap Chinese versions.I already have proper walking poles for fell walking in the Lakes, but these will be perfect as they are lightweight and compact. What’s not to like?

Less stress.
Waited until I had a few miles walked before writing this review. I have chronic back trouble and walking although painful helps me deal with the mental aspect of it.Anyway the pain has been wearing me down lately and decided that I needed some help.I had met a man whilst out walking who was using a pair to help with hip pain and said that they helped ease the pressure. So after checking out lots of reviews I decided on these. They arrived in a draw string carry bag and come in three connected sections which are so easy to assemble and adjust to suit your height,I am 1.88 metres tall. I have had over a week of walking with them and can report that the poles have indeed helped support my back, especially up hills.I have taken a star off because of the grip, not comfortable in my hand unless I wear gloves which is fine as winter has arrived. Over all these are a very good buy and have stood up well to miles of trekking over rough ground.

Ideal Walking Companions
Very nice set of walking poles and very easy to store. They come in a small travel bag and collapse down to fit inside. Simple to use and the instructions are clear and brief. Poles come with a variety of different feet which are easy to switch between. Poles height can be adjusted and they are very sturdy. Very well designed, good looking and very functional. A real quality product.

A little difficult to set up. Now broken and out of return period😕
Had them only for2 months and Only used it a couple of times! Difficult to click in. You have to pull it hard to get locking button out to lock into place. So hard that it pulled the wire off the internal screw. I can't fix it. Could be impossible. Out of return period. so I'll see if I can return but it's been a few months so doubtful 😕Total waste of money.

Stick it to em
I like these because, I've reached the age (67) where I need some extra help when Im rambling in the Highlands which I still love to do. I've tested them on four, five to eight mile walks so far. I use only one as I find two a cumbersome hinderance. It has taken my fullbody weight with no problems when I slipped a few times. Its also been nice to be able to carry in my jacket when not in use. Very lightweight and compact yet sturdy, excellent.

softer rubber tips
I bought the Parbat poles not for hiking but for everyday walking to be more precise to support when moving as I have a condition called Peripheral Neuronopathy. None of the rubber tips grip a smooth floor like tiles so can be dangerous for me. Do you anything that could create grip, of course i assumed that the rubber tips would work on any surface, Sorry to be such a pain!
