The bar comes with the scheduler controller. The light output is impressive and crisp. The downside is it leaves purple spot shadows because of the individual lensed purple and white LEDs spaced about an 1" apart. The body is thin and low profile and can get warm. The heat is perfectly acceptable considering its superior efficiency and high light output over other lighting types.The remote controller scheduler is not intuitive. The positive is you can schedule fade in/out the two different colours separately and save it to a setting. The result is you can have moon light at certain times and a slow wake up like a tropical sun finding its way to the sky. Just sit back with the manual and within 15 minutes, you'll have this figured out.March 25 2017Only a few months later, this unit is failing. The remote control is still able to turn on the light and adjust light levels. However, the light bar gets no brighter than dim. I've reached out to the seller.
