Blue Diamond ET 100 Septic or Pond Linear Diaphragm Air Pump

I use this for aeration for a pond. We have it inside a pump room so noise is not an issue. It operates an aerator that is submerged approximately 5’ and it runs continuously. In the summer months it can overheat and cut itself off. Overall perfect for what it’s being used for. We contacted the manufacturer and they replaced the model with the solid top with one that was vented and that took care of the problem. The manufacturer was wonderful to work with and even gave us info on which aerator to purchase.

This pump is cheap and loud. But you get what you pay for. it won't last long. Now you can buy the rebuilt kit I bought two at 49.99 each they only lasted two hours after installing them. now I have a Hiblow- 80 and it's been running for 6 years with no problems I should have just bought another Hiblow but the Blue Diamond was cheaper. but now after two set of rebuilt kits it now cost 50.00 more. So CHEAPER is not always better. That's why I just bought another Hiblow-80 I hope that this helps good luck. PS read the reviews

It is very quiet , I bought the 100' sinkable hose and the bubble box in a kit. Also installed a small check valve at the bubble box so water doesn't backfill the hose when it's not running. Been running for about a month with no problems My pond is 3 acres but I installed it in about 6' deep , I also have it zip tied the bubble box to a 5 gallon bucket on end , and put some rocks in the bucket. So the bubble box is off the bottom and not sitting on the bottom of the pond. Someone recommended not putting it directly on the bottom of the pond because it will churn up too much mud. So far it working great. Update: It ran great for months with no problems this spring and summer , cleared up the water and could see the bluegills beds and them in them. I would recommend it.

Seems to be a decent product. It worked unattended for 3 years before failing. Not sure why but purchased another one. If 3 years is the expected life I'm okay with it. Might last longer if the filter is regularly cleaned.

The install was easy but after a couple weeks issues started. Got it hooked up using 100 feet of hose and it has over heated several times and now it won’t come back on. I contacted them about the issues I was having and they immediately knew what was wrong. Amazon is recommending the Rootscape Aerator which is not what goes with the ET 100. I spoke to Chris Duffee and he was very professional. He explained what I had to do to make it work again and the correct aerator for my setup. I ordered the DS2, installed it and I haven't had any issues at all. Call them if you have any questions. They will make sure you get what is needed for your application. I got this in March of 2022, and now August of 2023 it has stopped working. The diaphragm has ripped and no longer pushes the air. I have tried two different times to order replacement parts and can't get them. The orders seem to run late then get cancelled.

Pump moves a lot of water. Have it hooked up to 50’ of weighted hose and a rootscape diffuser. Wish the amazon ad would have stated that it came with an adapter that screws into the pump to allow you to put a 3/8” hose on but oh well. Not too loud

Ordered this product and read all of the reviews. We dont notice the noise as much as others say. This is our 2nd Blue Diamond and this has helped our septic tremendously! Thank you for the quick shipment and product!!

Loud. Stopped working after just a few weeks whereas most of my pumps lasted a decade or more. Tried to return several times during warranty period and they wouldn't accept. Pump is junk and supplier is worse. Don't buy.
