Awesome, pain relief, brilliant
So I'm going to start with ignore all the comments and reviews stating that it doesn't work because I can tell you it definitely does. I've had 2 hernias repaired in the past and now they have gone again so need something to give me some relief whilst I await yet another operation to have them sorted. This really does work. You need to get it adjusted and at first will feel some discomfort but this is normal so don't worry. After 10 minutes of getting used to it the relief I had was better than any pain killers would give me. Very happy women here and would recommend to anyone that needs some relief and support whilst waiting to get your hernias sorted. I've gone from not being able to walk without being in pain to just a very mild discomfort and that I would take any day over the sheer pain I've been in. Give it a go as you won't regret it. Just take it off when you sleep, put on in the morning and forget about it. Great product.

Does the job.
The belt itself is good. Not uncomfortable at all. The gel inserts are a bit hard but it's easy to fashion your own using any cloth material. The only real issue is the velcro fasteners, mine lasted about 2 to 3 weeks but I run 30 miles a week and work 8 hours a day using it. I bought some 2 inch wide velcro and then painstakingly sewed 2 three inch long pieces on either side over the existing "velcro," it's been going strong ever since, so about 6 weeks of fairly heavy use and its still going strong. I've just had another one delivered, a bit more sewing but it's worked for me. Surgery could be a while!

Item Material used can chafe badly!
This product is a reasonable cost and it clearly provides some relief to people - nevertheless, as someone with a very low inguinal hernia the item is difficult to fit to the right position and the thickness and type of material it is made from can hurt by chafing, especially between the legs when carrying out everyday activities. I have tried it whilst exercising with walks, and also just resting. Sitting down adjusts the position of the straps and means I have to keep shifting about - not the type of activity whilst in company. For this reason I have given a medium score but appreciate others have better experiences, For the lowish cost involved it may be OK just to purchase and try but be aware that you may have the same experience as me.

Works for me
When it first arrived I took one look and thought, there's no way I can wear that. The straps are strong and thick with plastic buckles, looks like a thong for an elephant but amazingly it is comfortable. I wear it over underwear so doesn't need constant washing. I also replaced the solid pads with foam which works well and is a bit more comfortable.

Works for me too
Had a inguinal hernia with no side effects and had the operation. Have one on the opposite side which is playing up . I bought this product to help me continue playing golf and boxing training as well as gym . It does all of these perfectly . It fits under my trousers / tracksuit trousers even shorts and you can’t feel it and it is not noticeable. A Velcro strip holds it together so how easy is that to put it on !!!! Don’t listen to the moaners who say it is uncomfortable, difficult to put on , it isn’t !! I haven’t had one hernia issue wearing it (not having to adjust it or push the hernia back in . )I bought this expecting to bin it and at only £10 so what but hey it works so why would I want anything else . Thank you to the company who produce it , I am very grateful !

Works Reasonably Well
After recently having a inguinal hernia, I needed something for support whilst waiting for a repair op. Sadly, my hernia is to the left and is extremely low down to the point that its almost in my groin so I had to carefully select a product that I felt would reach into that area. Most appear to only cover the lower abdominal area which wouldn't have helped me at all. This one does although I have to wear it a little lower around the hips than normal. There is a video that helped me to make the decision to try this one and it helps to watch that to get it on and then adjust the fit. It works for me when I need it. My only complaint is as one or two others have pointed out, the velcro isn't the best. Because I have no option but to wear it a little lower, I have to pull the waistband velcros in quite tight so when I move around particularly bending at the waist or making multiple transitions from standing, kneeling, sitting to the upright position the velcro sometimes pops undone which is a bit of a pain. It seems the velcro has very small hooks and loops so could do with being a bit better quality. I have overcome this by making an elasticated "belt" which I then position around the hernia supports velcro waistband. This works well and keeps it secure. An extra faff but worth it to get the support I need for the time being. A little bit of thought and I overcame the problem. If it wasn't for the slightly weak or inferior velcro then I would have given it 5 stars. All in though, I've got it to work for me so I'm happy with that.

Best belt I have had
Liked that I had much more adjustment for size and that the pads fitted in pockets.

Excellent product (hernia belt)
The belt is well-made, comfortable, not bulky, a pleasant color and make lifting weight at the gym worry-free. Many times I forget that I have it on because it is extremely comfortable. I bought a size small and it fits well for a guy with a waist size 30. The velcro holds the belt quite well and you can move around without having to adjust it while exercising or when walking around. I am very happy with my purchase.

This is a great device
I needed to order two of these belts. I did not measure my waist before ordering and the first belt was too small. The sizing guide provided on the web page is very useful in determining the size of belt that you need. I just received the second belt and began using it right away. I am using this product as pre-operation device to help prevent any further damage to a sports hernia. I began to feel a difference immediately after putting the belt on and adjusting it. It comes with two removable compression pads, so you can easily remove the one that you do not need. The strapping is adjusted by Velcro fasteners making it easy to put it on and take it off. I began using the belt with the compression pads installed as they were right out of the box. It was uncomfortable every time that I sneezed or coughed as the curved side of the pads applied excessive pressure, pressing inward, causing considerable discomfort. I found that reversing the pads from the other side of the belt, so that the flat side was pressing inward toward the hernia, still worked at holding my hernia in place and was less uncomfortable when I sneezed or coughed. There are some discomfort levels with the belt. Insure that when you adjust the Velcro fasteners that the hook side does not hang over the fabric of the loop side, otherwise the hooks will make for an unconformable fit, digging into your flesh. At the end of the day the belt will leave marks on your body that become uncomfortable if worn for too long. This product is working as advertised and as I expected. It has already made a difference in my every day activities.

Good support, reasonable comfort
I tried 3 brands of these hernia support belts. The "Comfort" rating is kinda tough, as I don't see how one of these can actually be described as comfortable. But this one is much better than the others I tried. Inserts are also as comfortable as can be expected. So 5 stars for "Comfort." The support provided was also very good, IMO.It takes a little practice to use the bathroom while wearing the belt, but not a terrible ordeal for me as some other reviewers have said. I hope I don't need to buy another belt in the future, but I would purchase another of these if I must.

Size description isn't a true fit
Size description isn't a true fit!! I'm exactly 46" however it is inaccurate for fitting. When it says fits to 46" it isn't true. I fluctuate between 45.5" & 46" but the belt keeps popping off the Velcro because 46" is right at the end of the belt. Very uncomfortable in the groin and chafes the skin. The pad pops out during the day I had to keep pushing back into place.

I discovered I joined the Men's Hernia Club a couple years back...
I've been trying my best ever since to cancel my membership without surgery. I've used a few brands in the process. It seems there's always something lacking with every type I've tried. So far, this brand checks most of the important boxes for me.I took it out of the package and immediately cut the front strap from the side I don't need. In the product photo, it looked like the straps were just velcro'd to the front. I really hoped I could just pull off the one I don't need and rotate it with the side that I do. Sadly, they are permanently sewed to the front.Apart from that...-The sizing is right on; it fits perfectly-The groin strap is nice and flat. And sturdy enough that I can tell right now it won't roll at my groin crease, like so many other brands.-I REALLY like how the strap is attached to a belt loop. This enables me to find the right angle to keep the strap continuously flat from back to front-I can tell after a few hours of wear that the two-lobe shape of the pad is already compressing better than any of the previous pad shapes I've ever tried-The pad is slippery enough that I don't understand why there isn't 1) a velcro hook strap at the top of the pocket to keep the pad from sliding up and out of the pocket, OR, 2) a small piece of hook-side velcro taped to the flat side of the pad to keep it from slipping out [I've got some velcro tape around somewhere which I will use to do just that, but I don't get how such a simple issue hasn't already been addressed]-It's unfortunate the pad pockets aren't sewn to allow for a deeper, or longer, pocket for those of us who find the predetermined pocket position too high. The combination of a deeper pocket and velcro on the back of the removable pad would allow for better vertical positioning. As it is, the only was to get the pad low enough to compress my hernia is to cinch down the strap a little tighter than is comfortable-All in all, this is the most comfortable, yet sturdy, truss I've found. I look forward to a good experience as I try to put my insides back where they should be
