Moby Dick (Flame Tree Collectable Classics)

Aesthetically Pleasing
Small, pretty book. Golden edged pages, sits very nicely on a shelf. Other reviews have mentioned weak binding. I had no trouble with broken spines, but I will say, it feels delicate. Be easy on this book if you want it to last. This one sits on my ocean themed book shelf with a cheeky mermaid statue.

Love the classics
Beautiful library book but a little small type face. I will however order more in this series.

Little Book, Big Story!
I was not happy to see separation of spine. I will attach picture. I gave 4 stars because of this damage. Otherwise I really love this little classic story of Moby Dick.

More decorative than functional
This book is quite small and is very stiff(I know hardback books can be this way but this was unusual) and the font is very small

Not the way to read Moby Dick
I'm giving this book only 1 star because, while it has a cosmetic appearance that may look nice on a shelf of other small editions in this series, it's not the way to enjoy this classic.I ordered this book based on the product description that made me think this was a lavishly produced series of custom volumes of classics. I was about to start re-reading Moby Dick again and I wanted a fresh copy, because I like to make notes on pages, I like to read Moby Dick over several months, and I want my notes from a particular journey through the book to remain on my shelf for later reference. I have seen lots of other classic series of quality volumes of out-of-copyright books and assumed incorrectly that this might be such a sturdy, timeless copy.Instead, it's a cute little gift book more suitable to looking nice on a shelf of other volumes in this series than actual reading. The type is small. The spine is poorly constructed. I was tempted to return it, but didn't want to go through the hassle, frankly. I'll give it to someone who might like to have a nice-looking little conversation piece displayed on a shelf. It is a cute little book. However, I'm deeply disappointed that this publisher did not do the most basic thing in creating a classic series: Make good, readable, well-bound books. I bought this book for serious reading. Turns out, it's actually a curio.

Why are all the Amazon hard covers for Moby Dick tiny?
It's a nice looking book but why so small? I guess I need to go to an actual book store to buy books in 2023.

Beautiful.
Ok. The print is quite small but if you have ok eyesight or suitable glasses this is an absolute must buy. Gorgeous little book. Quality finish. Moby Dick is an undisputed classic regardless of the text size. This is my 3rd copy. Looking for a good quality illustrated edition next. Any suggestions?

Not a nice book for a home library.
The book is of good quality but it's just way too small. It looks good and all but it's just not enjoyable to read. It's so short it does not even look good next to other books.

Too small
Its a lovely looking book but it's smaller than a paperback. The print is so small. After reading 10-15 mins, I had to put the book down from eye strain.

Fantastic edition
Fantastic way of getting to read classics again. Small, yet looking like a gem.
