Is really a heavy duty scoop. Happy with it. One of the ubolts didnt have nuts. Will have to go to home depot to get some. But besides that, looks solid.

I needed a sand scoop for some beach metal detecting. I wanted to compare it to other scoops on the market as well as my homemade option. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. The scoop was very easy to mount with the two u bolts, and stayed securely mounted throughout its first run at the beach. It performed very well with no issues whatsoever. That said, this thing is a chunker and it is heavy. I see this scoop taking some abuse! It weighs in at 5lbs with the custom fiberglass handle. That doesn’t sound like much but that 5 turns to 30 after a couple hours. The only reason I marked off a star is the finish is not great compared to other CKG scoops that I have seen and hd some sharp jagged edges that will cut you if not careful. Also, for whatever reason they put a CKG sticker on this scoop instead of their usual laser cut or laser engraved logo. What happens when that sticker falls off? There will be nothing to indicate that this is a name brand scoop. You can see these issues in a couple of the pictures. This makes me think that these are made by someone else and possibly rebranded by CKG. I still plan to see how it stacks up with other brands and I may get another handle, but for now I can say that if you are looking for a heavy duty sand scoop that won’t break the bank this would make a fine choice. I just wish the finish wasn’t quite so jagged, and the logo was laser cut like CKG’s other offerings. I had images and video of the scoop in use but I have misplaced the micro SD card. It's a beast! Work's really well by filtering my sand out fast and easy. It's slightly on the heavy side so it helps to use a lighter handle. It arrived with missing lug nuts. They were a difficult size to find and had to go to several fastener stores to find the proper fit. Kind of a big hassle but I'm still happy with the product.

It is a great wet sand shovel just too heavy for 65 yo women

Have not used yet but attached a pole thzt i painted with some black high gloss rustolium and a handle it looks so good seems strong and im more rgan sure it will do a fantastic job pole attachment is so strong and the welds are much better and due to the disign as much more weld area.. A superior product
