So I had this ruler for 4 years, I bought it from an art store and I absolutely loved it. It was flexible, transparency of it lets you see what's underneath and measure more comfortably. What's even better is the edge of it is zero, which is suprisingly hard to find. Usually they leave approximately half a centimeter blank from the edge of most rulers before the zero. So this was the perfect ruler. It broke after a while, which is normal for this type of material after a long period of usage and bending, I would consider it as wear and tear. Then I ordered this online and started using the metric side. I noticed a pattern of wrong measurements. When I looked closely, I noticed that the first millimeter is less than a millimeter! Look at the photo really closely, you will notice. I assume it was made in a laser cutter and the laser burnt that much of the material. Anyhow, an inaccurate ruler is useless, hence the 2 stars.

These rulers - both the long and short versions - are my favorites. They are thin and flexible, work great with my ultra fine point pens, and are easy to clean and care for. The sleeves they come in are nice and sturdy, and these rulers can last a good long while.I haven’t found anything to match this, anywhere. It’s a great tool, and I would be hard pressed to find a replacement.

This ruler has a very rare and tremendously useful property: measurement/ticks start at the exact edges of the ruler, with respect to whichever side/scale you have right-side up!Combined with the very clear plastic and thin profile, it is a dream come true for any sort of workshop/crafts measurements.The "flimsy(ness)" that other reviewers claim as a strong negative actually allows it to take measurements in places a digital caliper's depth gauge can only dream of reaching.

I had order these rulers before and really liked them for bookmarks in my larger books. They are very thin and do not ruin the book or bend at the top like the paper bookmarks do. My last order was for two and I received one ruler attached to the cardboard advertisement and one cardboard advertisement with no ruler.If you receive the ruler, you will love it. It you just get the cardboard, it is very sad.

Arrived bent 3 ways, totally NOT USEABLE. Description says “flexible,” not “wrinkled.” 50% restocking fee. Rip-off. BAD PRODUCT. NOT RECOMMENDED.

The only ruler I will use for book folding (and teaching book folding to children). I love that the ruler edge is a natural zero.

My No 36 ruler came with the desk. It is a fine accurate ruler that is easy to use since you can see through it to line up the marks perfectly. Now it comes in a cover case to keep it from being scratched.
