This is a great product. It cleans easily and is safe for my bees. I used to have a leaky wood feeder but this is a much better option.

The media could not be loaded.  As you can see from my video, this works great. The lid fits a small-mouth mason jar. For the first few minutes, I thought the holes were going to drip too much but it slowed down. It took about an hour to attract the honey bees in the video. I placed a drop Lemongrass EO on the saucer because I read that this attracts them and it’s true!BTW: I’m not exactly comfortable around bees but the hummingbirds were late this year and when they finally showed up in GA, so did the honey bees and they’ve been swarming my feeders. This hasn’t been an issue previously.I did some research and this time of year (end of July - mid August) is often dearth which is when hives can lack enough food so I thought I’d supplement their food until mid August when Goldenrod should be blooming & balance out nature again. The bees are a lot less interested in my hummingbird feeders now so I’m very pleased with my purchase. I will put the second feeder out when the 1st one is almost empty and then remove the empty feeder when the honey bees move to the 2nd feeder. I have no intention of trying to handle the bees!!I intend to plant more flowers next year as well.

This item doesn't have the proper sized holes in the lid so it will drain the jar directly into your hive, not exactly what you're expecting this item to do. The seller offered an apology and to make me 'happy' , but I needed this item yesterday, not in the future. I'm giving them 3 stars for the apology only, Despite several requests I refuse to alter my review.

This is a great way to ensure your bees have enough food to get them through the winter. It’s also a great way to increase honey production. These are very well made. So easy to use. The price is a great value.

As pictured the bottom is warped on every one I received. The gap is so big the sugar water just pours out instead of pooling for my bees

For the price should come with two jars essentially you can take a nail and poke holes in your current jars you need the two plastic pieces.

These did the job but they are a bit flimsy compared to the wood and metal ones.

Simple to use and the bees did not object to its placement.
