For well written book
Great book to explain why you get angry and how to control it .Got it for my 41/2 grandson who ask a lot of questions and understands that we all can control it in different ways.

Good...except
I like this book except it uses the word "stupid" as a way to describe feelings. That's a "no thank you" word in our house, so I have to modify it to say "silly". I feel like the authors could have come up with a better word to use to help kids understand their feelings.

Nicely written
The book reviews why you can get angry and how to deal with your anger so young children can understand.

Great resource
As a mental health counselor I look for fun ways for my younger clients and there parents to learn about big feelings. This book is excellent at explaining anger and coming up with skills to express anger without hurting others.

Good concept, personally won’t remain in my child’s library .
I definitely love the concept and the goal the book strives for. I am not too happy about some of the words being used such as “stupid.” We try to stray away from those type of words in my house. We still enjoyed the illustrations and some of the other options it suggest to kids.

Wouldn’t recommend
I was hoping for a book to read to my son to encourage alternative strategies he can use when he’s angry. Instead, I found this to use words we wouldn’t allow in our house. Disappointed.
