Better than Apple or Samsung and less expensive, too!
Bought this tablet to replace an Apple iPad that died after less than 2 years. Tried to get a Samsung dirctly from them (I had a code for $ off from where I bought some phones from them) but their online app didn't work for me. So I did some research and read the reviews for an alternative product. And then I found this tablet on Amazon. The reviews there were mixed. The negative ones seemed to be from people wanting supercomputer abilities on a tablet. The positive reviews were from people who just needed the basics. I'm in the latter category, so I bought it.Right out of the box the tablet was already fully charged. All the instructions you need are on the removable shield. Just peal it off and follow the instructions and you're all set. With all the updates it does I was up and running in less than an hour. Then I started adding all my favorite apps and that took a bit longer. For my wife & me, this is a perfet tablet. We're not playing games, just using it for e-mails, Facebook and some web surfing. And it does all of that. The camera takes amazingly good pictures and videos. The FM radio is a nice extra. When the quarantine ends we hope to take it on a road trip with us.All in all, this is a great tablet that's easy to set up and use. In my opinion, it is better than either Apple's ipad or anything Samsung may sell and is priced about half of either one. I highly recommend this tablet!

Nice tablet for the price
I've been using the MatrixPad S30 for a couple of weeks now and I have to say it's a nice tablet for the price. I replaced an old iPad that was slow, wasn't compatible with the newest iOS, and kept crashing at random times. The S30 does everything I need it to do which is basically social media apps and watching YouTube videos for working on cars or motorcycles as well as searching for and ordering parts. The built in speakers are good for watching video and OK for playing music but I usually use an external bluetooth speaker for better performance. That's typical of any tablet I've ever used. The screen is crisp and clear and the apps open quick and I haven't had any issues with crashing.Very happy this tablet so far. Just waiting on VANKYO to come out with a case for it.

Incredible Value at this Price Point!
This is my second Vankyo tablet. I have also owned better known name-brand tablets, but the Vankyo outperforms them all! This S30 tablet is snappy and responsive with the octa-core processor and 3 gig of ram. The micro SD card slot allows for much more storage. By the way, if you wonder how to access the card slot, you will need a small pin to push into the hole in the card cover. I missed that little detail in the manual. The picture is incredible, and I've already watched a few Lindsey Sterling videos. Everything is sharp and clear. No lagging at all.Sound isn't the greatest, but I use headphones so that's a problem easily solved.I like Android 9 and the ability also to multitask with the split screen.Battery life is fantastic, and the touchscreen is responsive.I prefer using a tablet to a phone, because of the screen size. I use my tablet daily and extensively for business and also personal use. This Vankyo once again fills the bill perfectly for my needs. At this price point, what's not to love?

Fast, good graphics, glass screen & a USB 3.0 port. Great little tablet!!!
Yeah! Somebody finally decided to put a USB 3 0 port on a tablet. If you haven't already found out by having a tablet fail due to port deformation you will. The older ports just can't take being plugged & unplugged for very long before they stop making good contact. It was such a problem I'd bought a 7" extension cord so I could leave it in & just connect/disconnect from the far end. The 3.0 not only is much more stable, but I can use my magnetic port charger on it.Is it fast? You bet! Updating the pre-loaded apps took less than a minute. Loading up my favorite games used to take over an hour on my old Dragon tablets but on the Vankyo they uploaded one after the other in short succession. My videos are limited only by my internet provider (AT&T sells you 'high-speed' but delivers far less & gets away with that by saying "That's 'up to' 100k, not 'You're gonna get 100k) Games play super fast & it's a lot more fun when they do.I hooked the tablet up to my Samsung TV via Bluetooth and can watch things off my Amazon fire-stick & Netflix with no lag. My Dish Anywhere also runs with lag time limited only by my internet provider. YouTube runs beautifully with very little drag. Sound is better than most, but I actually use wireless Bluetooth headphones so I get excellent audio.I love that this Vankyo has a glass screen, not composite, so I can put on my Armor ( military grade) glass protector on to prevent accidental scratches. The clarity is superb & graphics are great. The touch screen is very responsive, though it has an odd way of closing programs: you have to left-swipe then right-swipe to close an app. I guess that's so you won't accidentally close a program which is easy to do when you just swipe once.Battery life isn't all that long when running too many apps in the background. I learned long ago to go into settings and close anything I'm not using which really helps. Running the tablet while charging for any length of time causes the tablet to run hot, but that's not unusual, so I put a cold-pack (in a waterproof cover) on the back to keep the unit cool.I liked this Vankyo so much I bought a second one so I can play two games at once . You know what it's like..between levels or challenges you have to sit through those annoying 30 sec. ads, so I play one & while the ad's running I play another game on the 2nd tablet. That way I'm not sitting around doing nothing for 2/3of the time. and for playing Love Nikki with my granddaughter. To get top scores in that game means using a secondary program which gives us the best combination of parts to win. Could I do this on just one? Sure, but it's a lot easier on two.The only other con is how you have to register the tablet on the Vankyo site to get the warranty. It's a lot more complicated than it should be and took me almost 15 minutes to jump through their hoops. I swear I had to put in the same information 3x before they said I was done. Aside from that everything about this tablet impressed me.
