Every Color of Light: A Book about the Sky

I collect childrens' books, & was completely taken with another by this Author & Illustrator Team about Water, with a Green Cover. I expected this to have equally stunning illustrations as the other one, but the illustrations in this book are smaller on a White-Background page, and rather monotone in comparison. Unfortunately, the text of most all (except for two) of the books from this Author/Illustrator Team are in Japanese or Chinese.

In this book about the sky we are drawn into a dark rainy day with its changing colors and we feel the depth of soul as we are carried along. The rain gets heavier and heavier thunder cracks and roars and lightening strikes sparking great trails of color all around and … stops. And then shimmering light fills the sky and a new journey begins and ends with the night time sky and all of us falling soundly asleep.Highly recommend!

A beautiful old fashioned tale about a clever fox. But a fox who is good. Many lessons and examples of kindness are taught in that fairy tale kind of voice.

Delightful story for children.

Love the book, disappointed it was damaged.

A little bit of wisdom and magic for all ages. Lovely.
