My favorite drain plug. I buy a new one every year. Probably not needed. But I do it anyway. Better safe than sorry. Edit : 05/25/26. I think I have one in my glove box. One in my tackle bag. Spare in the boat . And a couple in my junk drawer. Ive tried other plugs with the chrome and brass. But these ones keep a nice seal for many years. Other plugs seem to last a couple years max. Nice job Attwood. I'm set for a very long time.

Just received this plug. Goes into 1" drain hole perfectly. When you tighten the handle, the spring compresses and expands the rubber to fill the hole. Seems like it will work well. I don't know anything about its durability, but hopefully it will last a couple years.

Make sure you get this style drain plug that twist don’t get the kind that you flip. I had a brand new one that broke these never break. The rubber doesn’t dry out either.

I keep two of these in my boat, one in the truck and one in my shop. As cheap as these are, there is no reason not to have backups. You'll wish you did if the one you have falls out. Everyone thinks it won't happen to them. Oh yeah, These work very good and they're easy to use. Product arrived quickly and in good condition.

My live well uses a standard boat plug and this one fit perfectly. Good purchase.

This is a good quality one. I bought one of these for a spare last year and put it into service his year as the OEM part was of low quality and didn’t last. This one is smooth and nice to use. Feels like it’s good quality and like it will last. I bought another for a spare though - in case I drop it in a river of molten lava.
