The socks met all my expectations. They are not too thick but they also are not thin, pretty decent for a city style exploration. If you are looking for hiking socks - these may not be the choice.Wool is soft, tight and colors of socks are vibrant. The socks are very warm and cozy on my feet, so perfect for November and winter time. They keep me warm and I do recommend their quality as well!!

These barely cover your ankle--the photo makes them look like they come up a ways--and the heel seam is under your foot instead of on the heel. The insides are full of loose threads from the cat design and you toes get caught in them when you are trying to put the socks on. Another item that I will begiving away (I cannot afford to take2 days off work to return them, like happened last time.)

The toe seams on these are terrible. Thick, rough, and irritating.... And that was without shoes. In the brief time I spent walking in them (shoeless), the seam slid around in an obnoxious way. I received this set (or one very like it) as a gift several years ago and absolutely loved them. I was very disappointed to see how much they have changed. They're also thinner than the older version. If you're looking for comfortable socks, look elsewhere. These are low quality.

Soft, warm and stay up without being tight around calf. Great as a boot liner or can be used as a trouser sock. Lots of color and design options. Will order again.

These socks are rough looking, not soft, not thick or comfortable either.
