New Track Solid Color Canvas Bottle Pocket School Backpack Shoulder Strap Bag

This backpack is advertised as "canvas". It is most certainly NOT made of canvas! This seems to be a wholly synthetic material. The outside is woven and the inside is sort of tacky. I don't know if that detail will come out in the pictures but look closely. My fingers feel a little greasy or something from touching it. The backpack also has a fairly strong plastic stink, like the cheap backpacks or cut-rate luggage you might have gotten from opening a bank account twenty or thirty years ago. (I wonder if some factory in Asia is still using the same technology.) The stink might be tolerable for notebooks and pencils but I'd think twice about putting a kid's lunch in there.On the plus side, I got a prompt refund when I returned it.

I bought 2 of these last year for my 2nd and 5th graders. They are a great size and held up well enough all year that they are using them again this year! Great value for the money!

Very durable, the mesh for the water bottle doesn't last much but the rest of the backpack is pretty good. Good value for the money.
