You may want to check out other illustrated boxing for fitness books on the market today.
In the past I have purchased number workout manuals by P. Selter even though none of them had any illustrations showing how to do any of the exercise routines; nevertheless, I think most of them had interesting workout programs that made the books worth the price. This book, (Boxing WOD Bible: Boxing training workouts & WODs to increase your strength, agility & coordination for boing, fitness & fat loss) however, in my opinion is the worst book I have ever read on boxing workouts. The full title promises a lot but delivers little. It is essential for anyone considering purchasing this 29 page pamphlet (I just cannot call it an actual “book?”) that it may be the most expensive small volume I have ever paid in my life. I figured each page cost me 33.3 cents a page for this pamphlet. I did not expect any illustrations or pictures because the author and publisher of this series just do not seem to believe in putting them inside their so called “books.” Nevertheless, I did expect the font to be large enough to read without needing a magnifying class, which I had to use to see the super small font on pages 9 and 10 in this small volume. They attempt to explain how to perform a jab, straight (cross), hook and uppercut punches but this section is unreadable without a strong magnifying glass. It would have also helped to have just a few basic illustrations showing the punches even though they just refuse to use illustrations. The 50 workout routines included in the pamphlet are somewhat interesting and of some value; however, as someone who has been seriously involved in numerous combat arts (Judo, Jujitsu, Karate-Do, Boxing, Wrestling, Kickboxing, Tactical Aerobics and Krav Maga) for 7 decades I was not impressed with the actual punching workout routines in this text. Even at my advanced age I still do 15 to 20 three minute rounds practicing all the boxing punches (with only 10 seconds rest between each TWO ROUNDS) in my workouts as well as numerous other exercises 6 days a week.I dislike giving negative reviews of any martial art and warrior workout books but this one just does not deserve even a fair rating. In fact, of all the boxing training manuals ever written I would have to say this is the absolute worst one to read and if you are thinking of taking boxing for fitness ANY OTHER BOOK NOW ON THE MARKET WOULD BE BETTER THAN THIS ONE AND I HAVE READ MOST OF THEM.Just for the record, I have read most of the other warrior fitness routine WOD manuals by this author in the past and have given good and favorable reviews of them, but this one should be rewritten and totally revised to include actual boxing combinations using striking pads etc. This text could have easily been twice the length using more boxing routines and may be even adding a few helpful illustrations.Rating: 2 Stars. Badassery for Noobs
P. Selter gives you some amazing variations of solid boxing workouts which address those who need constant change. What is lacking is explanation of how some of these moves are performed. One cannot assume everyone knows what a burpee is or if you do it with or without a pushup. Overall a good read for beginners and seasoned bag punchers alike.

Boxing WOD Bible Kicked My Wife's Butt :)
Great workout guide. I bought Boxing WOD Bible for my wife and it's totally kicking her butt! I love how complete the workouts are. She loves doing workout #40. The combination of burpees, pull ups, squat jumps, and air boxing leave her panting - and me with a hot wife. Definitely recommend picking this book up if you are looking for a new work-out that'll kick your butt.

Don't waste your money.
This is more like a pamphlet than a book. 29 pages, including introduction and conclusion. The book is less than half the width of a common pen (see photo). Not worth the cost. Some of the print is so small that it requires a magnifying glass (see photo). Workouts have no explanations. Gave it 1 star only because zero was not accepted.

Nice to have
This book is something that is nice to have sometimes. It is lists of exercise routines. If you have a tendency to get bored with the same old thing it is nice to have a change up. But, that is all that it is, lists of exercises.

It's got some decent workout suggestions and you can easily chain some together
It's got some decent workout suggestions and you can easily chain some together. My only complaint is that he includes workouts with a speed bag and doesn't mention needing that in the equipment.

Bril!
Great boxing workout book, packed with ideas and wokout sets, but probably best if u know or have some experience of boxing basics as advice for beginners is a bit thin, if not, get a book which covers that and still get this. The two make for game, set and match for fun workouts, strength building, serious fat loss and great boxing teaching.

Not much information
Sorry, but a book about exercises without pictures is not really good. Also learning punching against a heavy bag without clear instructions can be dangerous.I did not find really good information in this book. Most is like a lot of other books about some kind of body weight interval training. But this tries to get a special bonus with the boxing element. If you want to learn punching go for Power Punching blueprint. If you want a book about body weight exercises there are a lot of better books like the ones of Johnny Grube etc. But this in combination isn't really informative.
