My state recently stopped allowing grocery stores to give out free grocery bags. All grocery bags are now required to be super sturdy in an effort to encourage people to reuse the bags. Well, I have always reused my grocery bags, and the current bags from the market are thicker than I want them to be. I needed something that wasn't super thick, but was still very strong and sturdy. I use these bags for throwing away used cat litter, so I need bags that are strong, don't leak, and have consistency of the product. These bags are just what I was looking for. Exactly the right size, never with any holes, strong enough to be completely filled with cat litter without tearing out the bottom or tearing off the handles, and thin enough that it's not difficult to double tie the handles. I've gone through about 200 of them so far, and have not found a single bad bag. These are high quality bags that are absolutely worth the price.

Bought these to dispose of used kitty litter. Put a plastic shopping bag inside cause these are a bit bigger and I wanted to double bag. Worked great. No leaks, no breaks. Strong enough to hold the load. Served my purpose well. Will buy again.

Since the paper bag rule started in my state I been buying this bag to clean up after by pets. I have 2 litter boxes & 3 cats with clumping litter, this bag holds EVERYTHING. Because clumping litter absorbs water it's a big ball of clay just when going #1. So for one bag to be able to hold 2 dirty litter boxes and traps the smell in the bag 20 out of 10. I purchasing this bag at least 3 years, NEVER has it broke on me. I even use it to pick up presents my outside cats like to bring me, never got anything on me, never seeped through the bag, nothing. I will continue buying these bags.

Since the Liberal government has banned one use plastic bags we now have a ridiculous need for garbage bags in our house. These have certainly filled the void. They are sturdy, sized just like grocery plastic bags we used to get, and there are just so many of them for this awesome price. Highly recommend!

these are not of the same make very thin and easily ripped

Since the inane law of "banned" plastic bags I have had to reach out online to find garbage bags. As a person who has two cats, these types of garbage bags are essential. I have no idea how people are managing without them, but I am grateful there are companies still willing to sell them. These specific bags are the perfect size and can hold a considerable amount of weight. I'd say about 10lbs--maybe more--and that's more than I expected. If you need garbage bags in your life (just like I do) this is your best option.
