AlternativeMen's Rocky Zip Hoodie Sweatshirt

This was a very tough review to write. It is very close to being a 5 star sweater, but for the most part, it is a sweater that I love.Pros:- Comfort level: SUPER COMFY. One of the warmest, softest hoodies I own, while still being incredibly light. Perfect for cities where the weather may be sunny one minute and then foggy the next.- Fit: I'm a petite girl with a large chest and a small belly, so my problem with a lot of hoodies is that they make me look much larger than I actually am. This hoodie does a pretty good job at maintaining my shape. It's not as perfect as my other Alternative Earth hoodie, but it's still darn good. It's slightly longer than the hoodie I got for work (I really wanted exactly the same one, and this was the closest to it), but then again, this is made specifically for a guy.- Color: Not violently purple, nor is it too pastel. It's probably the most neutral of purples. It is like the Switzerland of purples.Cons:- Inconsistent: While it does fit, it's bizarre that this sweater is longer than my other Alternative Earth sweater, which is also a small. The other sweater was probably ordered from one of those "brand your own logo on a sweater" places, so it may have been a slightly different style, but they look so much alike aside from the size that it's annoying.- Fabric: This sweater pills like crazy. I've only worn it five times and the back is completely pilled up! Not a bad thing if you're just hanging around the house, but looks very unsightly and doesn't help if you're trying to look like you're not a slob. But seriously...the pills were so bad that I thought I'd accidentally ripped my sweater. That's how much fabric and filament was falling off. Five days, yo! And I never wear the same hoodie in a row. So it's probably after three weeks and thus, three washes through the "delicate" cycle, and I hung it up instead of drying it.All in all, it is a solid sweater. I'm not entirely sure how long it will last with all that pilling. I fear that it might somehow disintegrate before the year is up. Luckily, it's only about $20, so I guess I wouldn't mind buying another one...though my original Alternative Earth sweater has lasted for about 2 years now without pilling this badly.

My other half got one after doing some research on softest hoodie. This is the best medium weight hoodie!!! It’s ridiculous soft, like if you needed a pillow on a park bench while you wait for that one friend to stop jogging soft. He also got me one. Then I gave them as presents to friends. It’s like being hugged with a pillow. If you gotten this far in the review you’re about to buy it and congrats. You’re going to be VERY happy. Also green is the happy color. Hope your day is well.

Several of the reviews mentioned this was quite thin and that is exactly what I was hoping this would be. It really only appears to be thin. It's not double lined, so you probably won't be wearing this on the coldest days of the years, but the material is thick and the inside is fleece-like. All of that said, when you put it on it feels a little bulky. I love hoodies and wanted something light and this is not it. It is a well constructed and basic hoodie and for that reason I'll keep it and wear it in the future. I just can't wear it all year long like I was hoping I could.

Sheds a little even after washing. Not sure how long it will last.

I love that it came earlier than expected date which was five days before, the color turned out to be more of like a light maroon color which I definitely like instead of the burnt orange look I ordered the men’s extra-large and it’s unisex so it fits me as a womens 1x perfectly for what I was looking for (I’m very thin and tall so lengthy and width wise it is perfect! Definitely cozy ! I saw the other reviews about how it shed in the dryer I’m going to try to turn it inside out and machine wash cold and dry on low my other one didn’t do too bad it’s pretty old

I'm a pretty small girl, I got a men's medium. I like longer sweatshirts. It's not super wide so it is great.Really soft and comfy. Got a little balled up the first time I wore it, under my arms. I took my fabulous lint ball shaver gently to it and the balls were gone. It didn't shrink when I washed it in cold water and I wear it all the time now. Still gets some fuzz balls but not too bad. Totally worth it because it is so comfy and soft and a good price for a hoodie.

It was too short and still big.First, I am woman. I am 5'11" and a size 4/6, with a very straight figure and broader shoulders. I bought this hoodie in Desert Camo - Small.I am really struggling to find clothing that fits me and I really want a hoodie that is long enough. Out of desperation, I decided to try a man's hoodie. The other reviews stated that this hoodie was nice and long. I did not find this to be true.The hoodie fit in the shoulders, it was roomy in the body (I expected a man's small to be a little roomy on me) and it was about 2 inches too short.While the larger sizes may be longer, I have come to learn that men's small sized clothing is about the same length as women's. And most men's specialized tall clothing starts at L or XL...ugh.So the next time you see a tall skinny guy in really baggy clothes...it might not be a trendy fashion statement and he might not be a thug, he might be wearing the only clothes he can find that are long enough.

Bought this in XL for my 6'4 son, 220 lbs. He is a big guy, but sometimes an XXL is just too boxy and wide, so we went with the XL. It is a little snug and I wish we had bought the larger size (though it seems not worth the hassle to exchange, and possibly the XXL would be too wide!). Otherwise we like the color and feel. Just a basic hoodie, but more variety of color choices.

The sweater fits really well, and is very comfortable. HOWEVER the color of the actual product does not match the color in the photo. The one I received is more grey, whereas the photo looks almost purple.

Mine looks grey, not blue/purple
