Boo [DVD]

I rated this five stars, because as B horror flicks go, it was a different kind of scary. It's not a " found footage" movie, which was refreshing. It has just the right mix of intrigue, psychological scariness, gore, and interwoven plot lines to keep you engaged, and on the edge of your seat. It's tense, and moves along at an acceptable pace. I have watched just about every horror film ever made, yet this one stuck with me. In fact, I'd have to say it's in my top ten all-time favorites. Yes, the premise behind it is a common one, yet the aforementioned mix of the different kinds of scary make this a very worthwhile purchase. I'd recommend it to any horror aficionado as a great addition to his or her collection.

I rate this movie five stars not because it's a high quality movie, but because this movie is so bad. The plot is so terrible and confusing and nothing really makes sense. I rate this five stars is because it's so horribly bad that it's laughable. If you're in the mood for a terrible horror movie, I would recommend buying this one.

Love this movie when it was aired on SciFi and so was happy to find that it was available on Amazon in DVD format which I could add to my DVD library. Ordering was easy, price was great and delivery super fast. A+++ experience all around.

The acting is so so bad. The effects are okay, this was definitely made in the 2000s, judging by the soul patch one of the actors is sporting. Duchess was the best actor out of all of them but sadly was the first one to go. I made it 45 minutes and stopped, wrote this review and turned off prime for the night.

When I first saw this movie I didn't expect much, but it was so much better than I thought it would be. It was even scary! It is great for halloween.

Cons:Several poor performances early on give you a negative mind set.The special effects are cheapThe story jumps around a little more than adviseProsThe story is actually pretty good.Some performances are fantasticMost of the characters are 3 dimensionalThis would have made a brilliant TV show. Even a series. It would work better in smaller doses. Heaped up into one film makes it rush where it needs to meander.I like the characters, even if one or two were poorly dramatized. The cop could lead his own series based on his past alone. The ending was cool. Not too many scares. More creepy and plot-y than spooky.Worth a watch. I added it to my collection.

Dvd horror consigliato

a girl and 3 friends go to a haunted asylum,shut down years ago after an internal fire,she has flashbacks of a patient taking a little girl in the janitors room but she does not come out alive,a police officer waits outside as another group has gone missing,the ghost of the insane man wants to get out and the spirit of the little girl released to go to heavaen,the rest you watch.this is a really good film....I recommend this film,........enjoy

Ho scoperto questo horror, molti anni dopo la sua uscita e mi ha stupito molto. Ne avevo sentito parlare bene e l'ho trovato all'altezza delle aspettative. Consigliato per gli amanti del genere.... voto 7

This looks like a good film not watched it yet. I watch them in the day time because no one will watch them with me the like romantic ones. Not for me more gory the better thanks

I am a huge Horror movie fan and i have a huge DVD collection , "Boo" is a fairly old film , but i only recently bought the DVD.Quite an enjoyable film.Quite a few cliches and few scares here and there.4/5
