This structured plan starting with a company, a name and and a forever-stamped approach letter gets attention. It allows you to methodically make all those contacts with a prospect that are required to get you into those companies you need to thrive in selling. The technique this book details has been worth tens of thousands to my company. You can adapt the letters and scripts to your own situation. I bought several copies from Amazon to give to my own customers and prospects, as it will help them in their own business. I highly recommend this book.

It's just OK in my opinion.
Nothing shocking or new. Lots of steps. Found myself just clicking pages forward looking for a nugget of something useful.

Timely publication
Everyone now and then slips back from what we know, I have been in that space recently. Michael's book, Smart Prospecting, brings back the focus required to re-start forward motion and act. Enjoying.
