Work great for me. Takes off the pencil and does not bother the ink.
I'm using ink on coated paper. These erase the pencil guide lines but doesn't bother the ink at all. Leaves no residue on the paper. A soft brush takes the waste away. A 100% job in my opinion. Some people have had trouble with the eraser crumbling in use. I've not experienced anything of that sort. Maybe if I pressed very hard it would but that's not necessary. `I've tried it on ordinary pencil on ordinary paper and it works just fine. Slower than a vinyl eraser but it's meant to be a gentler eraser.I would buy again.

Great price for art gum erasers
These are the best erasers for drawing in my experience—they’re best for erasing large amounts of drawing because they don’t get covered in charcoal or graphite and smear all over the page or damage the paper as much as other types of erasers. People complaining that they crumble are just not using them for the right things because them crumbling is why they work so well—it keeps them from smudging so much or chewing up nice drawing paper. They’re definitely for specific uses, not for erasing everything, but when I’m doing something like figure drawing or anything on super nice/thick/textured paper they’re great. If you’re erasing something small like writing or something that you want really precise I would use a different eraser but if you’re trying to erase something fully without damaging the paper use these. These are no better or worse than any other art gum eraser. They’re great but all art gum erasers are basically the same and these are good. These are a a better price than others I’ve found on Amazon. I found one where you could get 3 erasers for the same price as this giant pack and ones where they were charging almost this much for just one. I’ve bought these twice before for students in an arts class I taught and the giant box lasted a long time and got a lot of use. These are just for me and I was going to buy a smaller package but for the price it made more sense to get these (which will probably last me multiple years!).

love them💕
Came wayyy earlier than expected. Although the packaging was kinda 'meh', it was wrapped in the paper where it has the order information, and was put in the envelope like thing with bubble paper inside. The thin cardboard box that was holding the erasers were a bit ruined, all folded and wrinkled and some parts ripped :/ the erasers inside are in really good condition tho :) These erasers are really good(just started using it today), they crumb a lot, but it get the paper really clean. All you had to do is rub it gently against the paper and the pencil marks are immediately gone, no tearing of the paper of folding or ripping. It's really good. I recommend this to anyone tho, best eraser I've used so far. Also, these won't really last long, but they come in a pack of 12 so these would last you years, one eraser to me would last about a half a year or less, since they're gum erasers. I'm an artist, I draw everyday and use this on a daily basis, this is good for erasing charcoal too, not just graphite.

crumbles and breaks apart
These erase quite well, but crumble and fall apart much more easily than they should. I've had gum erasers in the past that held up much better. Unfortunately, I can't find any in my local stores anymore, so these are better than the pink eraser alternative.

Best Gum Eraser I've Ever Used
I absolutely LOVE these erasers. At first I couldn't imagine what in the world I'd bought so many of them for, but then it became obvious. As each one is used, the corners get rounded, and I like to have some sharp cornered erasers around to erase errors very carefully and without destroying what I want to leave in. I like precision and these erasers give it to me. I also use them for special effects, such as drawing clouds when I want a very bright area, and the sun's rays as well. Aside from that, it's a great eraser for general erasing. It does leave debris behind and that would affect the subsequent drawing so I always keep a bottle of multipurpose air spray duster (the kind that's used to keep computers clean) around. That way I don't smudge my drawing by brushing away the eraser debris - I just blow the debris away and it leaves the paper clean. One added benefit is that I've purchased other gum erasers and they have had an absolutely horrible odor. These have a most pleasant scent to them, reason enough to purchase them. They're also the best gum erasers I've ever used.

Recommended for fragile documents!
It's not intended to be sturdy, but rather to crumble, as intended. I needed something to erase pencil marks in a 300 year old book, without damaging the paper. (The pencil marks were more recent), but I was concerned with tearing the fragile pages. I rubbed in one direction as directed and it removed the pencil marks, satisfactorily, without damaging the paper. Regular erasers are too sturdy and would possibly damage the old pages. That's why they are designed to 'crumble'. Not that you asked, but it was a 1707 copy of Paradise Lost. So, highly recommended for working with valuable documents.

WHAT I EXPECTED - GREAT
Exactly as I remember it - I have a few prints / originals that need some cleanup and I don't want to have them messed with by "restorers" in my area who've gotten terrible reviews - so I'm doing it myself! So far, so good... Awesome!

Great price and fast shipping
Great price, great product, shipped quickly. Perfect for no-smear erasing, though of course they are very crumbly. A lot cheaper than buying them individually in stores! These art gums do get 'harder' as they age, so use them up before too many years pass by!

Good at erasing, breaks apart easily
These erasers break apart and wear our very easily. If you add any pressure while erasing, expect big pieces of rubber to roll off of it. Two of them have broken while using them. They do erase well though.
