Attaching specialized tools to measure temperature, humidity, airflow, etc really proves to the customer that we are putting in the work and making sure our recommendations are backed by actual and accurate data. Being able to reach those high ceiling areas is easy with this extension

I doubt this thing will stand up to daily use. After only one day of use, the head on mine is already loose and wobbly. These telescoping wands seldom last very long anyway, and this one doesn't lock very securely. I think that the Amazon Basic's 67-inch monopod with a Giottos ball head would make a more robust and more flexible extension for about the same price as this thing.Update, September 2017: Well, after seven months of light to very moderate use, my doubts about the quality of this magic wand proved correct: the distal (tip-end) segment will no longer lock in place and the swivel head fell out. The construction of the wand is, I think, aluminum, press-fit, and the plastic swivel head was simply crimped into the tip of the wand. I may be able to repair it with epoxy and re-crimp it, and may be able to make some sort of adjustment to the loose segment to keep it from collapsing. However, I am knocking two stars off of my rating, because it is my opinion, based on my experience and frustration, that this is the shoddiest manufactured tool-like waste of money I have bought in the last decade. If you buy one, you should consider it to be a disposable product from the outset.

Bought it to use with ABM-200 (HVAC) and fits the device will. The Pivoting head makes this a better option than a generic pole because it will allow you to take Air Velocity readings by allowing you to position the ABM-200 in the air flow.The length is more than enough for average residential work and at full extension it should be long enough for the vaulted ceilings where the supply registers are high.What I didn't like, i don't know if its just this particular one I got, is the locking mechanism when you extend the pole. It does not feel like it will put up with the wear and tear it will be subjected to. Also the very last (thinnest) section does not lock well enough. As I probably won't be extending that far often I'm just going to keep it as is since I need it now and don't want to deal with return.Will have to use it for a few weeks to have a final verdict on it.

The pole is really nice. It is very sturdy.

After a little use the head of the extension pole that connects the airflow device came apart, and after that there’s no more use for it.

The attachment end of this poll broke into pieces the first time i attempted to use it. The plastic seemed to be so week it just broke apart tin my fingertips with very little force. The plastic seemed to be brittle like it was worn by UV sunlight rays.
