A Little Short...
Update 2013/01/15:The replacement lug around which the velcro end of the strap loops is subject to breakage under "excessive tension". Customer service told me that they see the issue most often when the strap is over-tightened on the universal bike mount ( http://www.amazon.com/Garmin-Forerunner-Bicycle-Mount-Kit/dp/B000VK5BMQ ).The first time this piece cracked, Garmin replaced the entire strap kit for me, no questions asked. It broke again this week, however, and this time Garmin is telling me that I'll have to purchase the replacement. Unfortunately, they don't stock or sell just the lug; you must buy an entire strap kit (which explains why I got a kit instead of a part the first go-around).That all said, I still like this strap enough that I'm going to purchase the replacement; your opinion and mileage may vary.I'm pleased to report that 910XT's bezel does NOT cause me to breakout in a rash.I'll also point out that Garmin is now selling a long version of this strap, but I'm having trouble finding it any place other than at Garmin's online store. The part is "Forerunner® 910XT Fabric Wrist Strap (Long)", 010-11251-22.My rating stays at 3 stars.=================================================Short Story:This strap is short but functional.Long Story:When you take this strap out of the box, you will be immediately alarmed by its length - and if your wrist is much larger than 6.5 inches in diameter, you should be. As noted in the product description, this strap is intended for small wrists. My wrist is 6.75" around, and to get this strap to fit, I have to wrap the Velcro a little short. It works, it's not uncomfortable, and it's secure, but it's obvious that it's intended for a smaller wrist. That said, if you're using the new Garmin universal bike mount ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VK5BMQ ), you'll be pleased to know that not only does this cloth strap work with it, but that it actually works *better* than the standard rubber wrist strap.Other notes:On my older 310XT, I used a Timex Triathlon cloth wrist strap along with the old (and apparently no longer available) bike mount kit. Unfortunately, because of the way the pins and strap are arranged on the 910XT, the Timex cloth strap won't work without some cutting and sewing, and you would still need *this* cloth strap for its included plastic end piece. The big advantage for me with the Timex strap over this strap is that the Timex strap kept my wrist from making direct contact with the base of the watch; this strap puts a large swath of metal directly against my skin. Historically, direct extended contact with plastic or metal tends to break me out in a rash. I've only had the 910XT for a few days, and I've only had this wrist strap for a few hours - so I don't know how well this is going to work for me.The pins on the 910XT are screwed in from either side rather than being spring-loaded. This arrangement is probably more secure, but you'll surely need a 3rd hand to hold the watch steady while you're manipulating the screws with the two included Phillips-head screwdrivers.A provision for cloth between the bezel and my wrist would garner another star, and another half inch of strap would garner yet another star. As it is, this strap only rates a 3 in my book - and if I wind up breaking-out in a rash on my first run, it will probably drop to a 2.

Great wrist strap - worth it for folks with smaller wrists
This strap works perfectly fine. I'm a small boned female; my left wrist is about 5 5/8 inches. It's plenty big for me. There's at least 1/2 inch of more of the strap before it would have to wrap in the wrong place but should still work even if a person's wrist were bigger. The 910XT design has it attach at one end and wrap to the other - much like a standard wrist watch. The 405CX strap went all the way around the wrist and the watch attached on the top side of it. The 405 design is more comfortable but this new design isn't uncomfortable. The issue with the 910 design is that it leaves the clammy metal against my sweating wrist and the watch is soooo big there's a bit of space left over for stuff to get caught in - I'm making it sound worse than it is. Not a huge issue. This strap is waaaaaay better then the stiff awkward plastic strap the watch comes with. It's much more comfortable, much less bulky, less weight, etc. I wish it were cheaper, but garmin is just sucking down all the profit it can I guess.Updated 04-Jun-2012I've been using this a few weeks and have decided the 910 strap design is superior to the 405. There's just less material. That means less weight and bulk. This was definitely worth the money to me.Updated 09-Sep0-2012Updated post title - I love this wrist strap now. I can imagine using the bulky plastic one now. This strap is great for women.10-Oct-2014Still using the strap. Still working great. I've started doing some open water swimming with the watch and it's held up well. I still think this is a great strap for women.

Does what it promises to do, but screws a little flimsy
Great for people who are just a little smaller, like my wife. The original straps are BIG and fit well on my arm, but if you are a little smaller you might want to buy this item. It gives a snuggly fit on the arm and my wife likes it! Also handy to keep my watch and hers apart. The installation instructions are easy to follow and all can be done in 3 minutes. One thing to keep in mind: The tiny screws are, well, tiny... I would call them flimsy. I broke one when screwing this strap on, but fortunately it are the same screws that are already holding the original strap in place.Great product, but don't use too much tension on the screws; you will break them!

Garmin makes decent products, but puts no thought into accesories
when I took it out of the package, my first though was there was no way it would fit, even my tiny wrists. But it does once you get it on.I'm only giving it three stars because I find it annoying...1. That every time I upgrade my garmin, I have to upgrade all the accessories, which is expensive2. You can't use quick release mount with this. In all previous versions, I've been able to use the quick release and fabric strap, but not with the 910xt. Boo!!

It's usable
I didn't like the stock strap because it felt like it cut into my wrist, so I got this. Knocked one star off for the price, even though it comes with its own tool kit. I am wary of the lifespan of the strap, as the securing mechanism is velcro. As with other velcro products, if you are not using it, you should either keep it free from hooking anything or hook onto a part of the strap that you won't use.

Perfect for the smaller athlete!
This wrist strap is perfect, now my Garmin 910xt actually fits on my wrist. With the stock straps they were too large to fit comfortably. This strap is definitely for someone with small wrists, if average or larger take another option. Also the profile of the 910 is lower on my wrist, which makes getting your wetsuit sleeve off, much easier!

Incorrect description and sizing
I was under the impression from the description that this had two straps. Not only did it not have two straps, but the one they sent was so small I can not use it. Please update the description and sizing information to keep your customers happy. The quality of the product is great (gave it to my wife) I just wish I didn't have to go through the hassle of getting another one.

Comodo e ben realizzato
Comodo, adatto solo a polsi molto sottili.Potrebbero aggiungere qualche immagine alle istruzioni di montaggio, comunque una buona alternativa al cinturino normale.
