Bialetti Stainless Steel Plate, Heat Diffuser Cooking Induction Adapter, Steel, 6 pints

Exactly what my induction cooktop needed!

Works great. Exactly what we needed.

I first saw this used on a YouTube vlog about getting the best possible coffee from your Bialetti, so I tried it. Yep - it works well! Keeps the coffee evenly heated without scorching or burning, and makes it easy to control the temperature and the brewing speed. Much easier to control than an open, gas flame IMHO. Improve the taste of my coffee quite a lot. Heavy duty and very well made.

I’ve long been looking for a way to have great pour over coffee without plastic, and the Chemex does a great job, save for getting cold. With the Bialetti plate I’m able to keep the Chemex safely and sufficiently warm on my induction cooktop. I usually just set the smallest cooktop setting to level 2 and the coffee stays nice and hot!

I keep the underside of this thing spotless, and clean my stove top before using it. But it still heats up SO hot, even on a lower temperature, that it often leaves a scorch mark on the tempered glass. I don't think that's the fault of the diffuser, but probably something that happens using any diffuser. On the other hand, the handle never gets hot, so it is doing its job, and I can use my fancy moka again.

I bought it for my Bialetti coffee maker and it has really been worth it; all the heat from the stove passes indirectly to the coffee maker, which makes it possible for it to maintain its color and shine and prevents it from getting damaged.

The best ! Keeps the coffee at the right temperature

The Bialetti heat diffuser works great. I thought it might take longer to get the pot up to temp but it transfers the heat really well on an induction cook top. It’s also much cheaper to buy the diffuser than an entire pot that is induction compatible. A word of caution, make sure they sent you the correct item. The first diffuser that arrived was not a Bialetti but a no name generic version of really poor quality. I requested a replacement and Amazon took care of it and sent me the real Bialetti I ordered. It worked out ok in the end but it was frustrating to have to deal with the return.

So good to be able to cook espresso with my Bialetti cooker on my new stove. No moving parts that can fail Love it!

Great product

Werkt perfect!

Recently bought a house with an induction hob and couldn’t use my aluminum moka pots for my coffee. Saw this, read the reviews. Was a little concerned about folks claiming it ruined their hob by leaving white marks. Yes, it does leave a mark - but a quick wipe with some multipurpose spray and all is good. Very solid. Makes my moka coffee faster than on my old gas stove. Perfect solution and great quality.
