Dimensions Canoe Lake Paint by Numbers Craft Kit, 14'' x 20'', None

Looks just like advertised! Plenty of paint and very nice paint containers. Colors are good.I just went canoe camping in the BWCA last summer, and this painting is perfect! (Although I did add a Loon in the water, my favorite bird of the North....)Included a photo of all the paints used. Mixing was easy, but you need little containers to mix in.I work full time and got this to do in my spare time. As such, it took me exactly 20 months plus 1 day to complete (In the end I was working on it while watching Hallmark movies).The mixed paints tended to get thick when sitting for so long, and I think it was because of the cheap secondary containers I used. So I would add a few drops of Liquitex Flow Aid and mix well until I got the right consistency and the paint worked well. The containers of paint that came with this kit lasted the whole time without using any Flow Aid.This is my second PBN in the last few years, and this kit was excellent. The paint was plentiful and the containers worked well. Only a few of the colors needed a second coat: The design was great. The cardboard canvas is thick, but it did warp over the course of painting. I have to flatten it before mounting, but I don't think this would be an issue.Excellent kit.

This was my first paint by number. It took a few weeks of painting every night but it was well worth it. The picture that you get in the end just brings you to a peaceful place, and you painted it! That’s the best part!

So much better than expected!"Canvas" is actually on a board so no need to construct a frame or stretch canvas.Can be easily done balancing on your knee, no need for table or easel.Some very small sections to paint but the accompanying blown up chart and referencing the front of the box makes completing this easy.The brush is fine, even for small areas, just keep it clean then it doesn't store paint.Absolutely plenty of paint, have no idea what the negative reviewers have done here as I cant see how you can run out unless you are really really careless.You have to mix up a few colours - i.e. to get the texture of the sky, water etc.This is really easy and can be done a little at a time, this is probably where I wasted a little paint but it didn't make much difference to the overall quantities. It doesn't really matter if you don't mix up enough in one batch as the shade will be almost the same another time.Am looking out for more designs by this producer as I cannot fault it at all.Hands down the best paint by numbers kit I've ever done.

The paints were good quality, the painting was very fun. It was a more advance level than expected but I am disabled with poor eyesight and it came out really well. It’s the first paint by numbers I’ve ever done and I’m so proud of it.

It’s a beautiful painting, but be aware that some sections of the paint-by-number are VERY small and the activity is very time consuming. Don’t expect to complete the painting in a day. Most of the paints are very pigmented. The lighter colors, like white, are slightly sheer. It’s not too big of a deal because you can just put a slightly thicker layer. I like how the painting is on a cardboard canvas versus just a canvas. A lot of the paint by numbers sold on Amazon are just the canvas, which comes super wrinkled. This one is perfect because you don’t have to worry about wrinkles or how to stretch the canvas over a frame.

I painted it just because I loved the solitude of the picture, didn’t have anyone specific to give it to, but once my grown son saw it, he asked if he could have it. That makes it even more special.

I LOVE the paint by numbers from dimension. I like that they are on a canvas board, like a cardboard and it keeps them stiff and unmoving when working on them. The paints only take 1-2 layers to fully cover the numbers and lines as long as you slightly over lap the lines. The instructions are straight forward and easy to read. I have a lot of fun working on these paint by numbers.I gave this one in particular ⭐️⭐️⭐️▪️▪️ because the box inside the box arrived damaged. Now if this had happened naturally in shipping I wouldn’t mind, but the box had the word “damaged” written on it as if someone packed it intentionally broken. The paints, instructions, and canvas were all inside and all of the paints are wet and work fine. There was no paintbrush and the corners of the cardboard canvas are bent. Hopefully this was an “only me” type of problem but it was my experience all the same.

I believe this is my 3rd pbn with dimensions and this one was by far the best. I had no problems with the paint being old. Some of the cells were not numbered and I had to keep referring back to the color map they provide. And the white/off white were very opaque. I had to go over them 4-5x. But all in all, the picture turned out wonderful.

Looks really nice. I was a bit unsure about mixing some of the colours but soon I really enjoyed this part of the painting. The board is sturdy and easy to paint on. Because there's so much detail, the inclusion of the drawings with the paint numbers was very useful. Most of the paints were perfect consistency but a few were a little gritty and that's the only critique I would add here. Plenty of paint to finish the project if you're careful to use what you mix. The brush is good quality but I prefer to use additional more fine-tipped brushes. I have another painting by the same company and am looking forward to doing that one.

I have so far ,spent about ten hours on this painting & I am less than one third of the way through. There are tiny, fiddly bits everywhere! It is a very demanding piece & not for the faint-hearted. This will be the 3rd. painting from Dimensions Paintworks that I have done. The end product is well worth the time & effort required. These are by far the best Painting by Numbers pieces I have purchased & are well worth the extra money.

The media could not be loaded. Its been a long time since i did a paint by numbers, and when i got this one, i was a little overwhelmed by the amount of detail in this painting. I set it aside for close to 4 months before I picked it up, but once i started, I could not put the brush down. it just looked more beautiful which each and every stroke i put on the canvas. paint quality was great, maybe had to add a single drop to some to get better flow off the paint brush on the canvas. Mixing colors was easy, and allowed you to tweak the colors a little bit to your own style.The only thing they don't provide is mixing jars for the paint you need to mix yourself, but those you can get a dollar store, dozen for 1.oo . the brush is standard, but I had a #3 lying around and used it instead of the provided brush.Do not be afraid to go outside the lines, when you lay the next color to it, you can go over it and cover up any flaws you made, for example with the boat, i think i went over the colors 4 or 5 times to get the lines I was looking for.enjoy
